Putting it on now and painting it with the rest of the car is the only way to guarantee a match. That piece in the yard has likely been out in the sun for ~20 years....it's gonna be faded next to fresh black paint.

you couldnt take 15 minutes to take the accessories off the car before you painted either??? really man...this is the reason thirdgens get bad reps

I'm not selling it. I don't plan on keeping this paint on for long at all. I just figured it'd give me something to do for the 2 weeks I was away from home. It's getting replaced I just wanted to have a project for myself and realize I can't do autobody. Lots of parts on it need to be replaced so it'll all be stripped down to primer and repainted when I get the new parts in and re-done by someone who knows how to do it well.
