i got a answer for you this happened with me and i fixed it. Pull your wires and seat them better make sure they are far enough into the sleeve to make a good connection.

Nope, its def not a ticking like its arcing, its a metallic ticking... hard to explain, but its in pieces at moment.

Bad valve guide....you're screwed. Just kidding but I would play with the lash a bit, maybe a lifter isn't pumping up the way it should. Ever over-rev the car or hit the limiter hard?

Does the ticking happen more from a cold start or when warmed up?

Its always there Brian, and no rev limiter to hit ;)

Ok, got em all adjusted to a 1/4 turn... its much better now. Still a cracked out sewing machine as a normal pro mag is... but not as bad.

transmaro93 06-15-2010 07:29 PM

so the sound is gone now?

LTb1ow 06-15-2010 08:30 PM

No, not entirely, but its very much less evident.

transmaro93 06-15-2010 08:34 PM

transmaro93 06-15-2010 08:42 PM

LTb1ow 06-15-2010 10:31 PM

Nah, I swung by, was throwing a code for something, but now its not.

Not bad though, went cruising and the ticking is very hard to discern over the cutout.
