he said for a 6 speed and i am unsure of the condition of op's vehicle. you also have to account for weather for that day.

lol....splitting hairs are we....maybe the op can give you a detailed breakdown of the conditions of that day. In the meantime well all be sitting here in suspense. On a good day your average LT1 is only seeing 101 which would put him around 260ish hp..if thats the case good for him.

Green_Phoenix_LT1 07-15-2010 09:24 AM

As far as the condition of my vehicle....

The engine and trans have a little less than 11k on them and 14 months.

And how much did your car weigh? My LS1 Trapped 110 with bolt ons and dynoed 340rwhp. It weighs 3540ish without me in it.

JerzLT1 07-19-2010 04:32 PM

the only things out were AC (only the compressor and lines), seats and carpet. maybe 120lbs less than stock? this was in an auto car btw

What bolt ons were you running? Most headers, full exhaust, and intake LT1's I have seen trapped in the 102-105 range.

Copied this from your Fquik page.

"Ive owned the car since August of 07 and have been to the track with it almost every week since. it started out running a 13.9 @ 100mph full weight with only a cat back exhaust. added a SLP CAI, BMR LCAs, and !Muffler, !Interior, and !AC on Drag radials and Skinnies and it got me to a 13.3 @ 105. LTs and True duals with dumps got me to 12.85 @107 with an exhaust leak and no tune. new times TBA"

You also ran a 13.9@ 100mph with bolt ons!!

sweetbmxrider 07-19-2010 05:16 PM

pwned

JerzLT1 07-19-2010 09:58 PM

ok? not sure where you going with that lol. the car went 12.51 @ 110 with 3.73s, the exhaust leak fixed and a tune. i forgot that i even had an Fquick

CAI, Pacesetter LTs, True duals dumped before the axle, 1.6rrs, skinnies, slicks, 12 bolt with 3.73s, and a tune from Bryan. my g/f still has the car and it will still go 12s with the right tires on it.

edit: oh LCAs and SFCs were on there as well and the sway bar was removed. that wouldnt exactly make me trap higher though.

i wouldnt consider that a ''bolt on'' car. its a bit more than that.

The only non bolt on part is the RRs, no?

NastyEllEssWon 07-20-2010 08:50 AM

well i consider a bolt on car the usual, headers, cai, exhaust...but when you start going rr's, rears, gears, slicks, skinnies...id say its a bit more than a bolt on car

rr's still classify it as a bolt on car, and if you think that those things disqualify it from being a bolt on car you're an idiot. Look at the bolt on ls1 list on tech and see what they're running

sweetbmxrider 07-20-2010 10:10 AM

definitely a bolt on car with a few missing....

Really? Maybe they need the driver mod. My Bone stock 93 Firehawk went 13.51@105 on a 1.9 60'. Granted, it has a factory CAI but that's about it.

Thats why I said BOLT ON. My Firehawk has a Ram air induction and 3 inch catback system as well as some suspension parts from SLP. I consider my Firehawk a bolt on LT1 car!

My LT1 has heads the came bolted on from the factory and a cam that is held in with bolts. It sometimes runs 14s.

I am with you on this. I consider a bolt on car something that has basic mods done to it.

When someone asks me what will they run in a bolt on LT1 I am not goint to say low 12's@ 111 mph. I will tell them that with Bolt ons they usually run a low 13 @ 105mph. If you do weight reduction, 12 bolt, Skinny fats, and roller rockers on top of your basic bolt ons you can run a low 12 in the 110 mph range.

I met a guy at a meet a couple weeks ago that said he went 13.9@ 103 in a bone stock Nissan maxima. I threw the BS flag and he insisted he did. The only thing that was done to the car was weight reduction. To me thats not bone stock! Bone stock is getting a car from a dealership and taking it to the track and running it. To Him it is bone stock.. Kinda like what people consider bolt on and a little more then bolt on.
