"Ive owned the car since August of 07 and have been to the track with it almost every week since. it started out running a 13.9 @ 100mph full weight with only a cat back exhaust. added a SLP CAI, BMR LCAs, and !Muffler, !Interior, and !AC on Drag radials and Skinnies and it got me to a 13.3 @ 105. LTs and True duals with dumps got me to 12.85 @107 with an exhaust leak and no tune. new times TBA" You also ran a 13.9@ 100mph with bolt ons!! |

i wouldnt consider that a ''bolt on'' car. its a bit more than that. |

well i consider a bolt on car the usual, headers, cai, exhaust...but when you start going rr's, rears, gears, slicks, skinnies...id say its a bit more than a bolt on car

When someone asks me what will they run in a bolt on LT1 I am not goint to say low 12's@ 111 mph. I will tell them that with Bolt ons they usually run a low 13 @ 105mph. If you do weight reduction, 12 bolt, Skinny fats, and roller rockers on top of your basic bolt ons you can run a low 12 in the 110 mph range. I met a guy at a meet a couple weeks ago that said he went 13.9@ 103 in a bone stock Nissan maxima. I threw the BS flag and he insisted he did. The only thing that was done to the car was weight reduction. To me thats not bone stock! Bone stock is getting a car from a dealership and taking it to the track and running it. To Him it is bone stock.. Kinda like what people consider bolt on and a little more then bolt on. Quote:
