The snow is coming down hard already and sticking to the trees, grass, cars. This is going to get ugly with trees full of leaves and a heavy wet snow.

BonzoHansen 10-29-2011 11:01 AM

wtf??? stupid nature

WayFast84 10-29-2011 11:22 AM

I hate my life. This only confirms I'm going to have some serious trouble getting to work this winter if I keep my current mode of transportation...

Looks like it's back to just freezing rain here and we ended up with 2"-3" of wet heavy snow, maybe a little more. Last I looked it was supposed to switch back to snow later tonight, but I haven't looked at the radar in a while.

BonzoHansen 10-29-2011 03:37 PM

heavy is an understatement, wow. weighs a ton

JL8Jeff 10-29-2011 03:48 PM

We're all snow again and probably have 3-4" so far. Luckily, it changed to rain for a little while and the wind kicked up and knocked some of the heavy snow off the trees. It sticking really good again so tonight will get interesting. It's supposed to go down to 29 around here so that should freeze the slushy stuff and make for an ugly night. I just made a batch of chili 4 horus ago so I'm good to go.

Blackbirdws6 10-29-2011 04:06 PM

Broken tree limbs in my front yard. Heard a loud cracking and looked outside to confirm. Luckily it fell into the grass and not in the way of anything.

Aside from the Keystone, that sounds like a winning combo. Is Jenks open tonight? You can go snow-biddy hunting!

Its jenks halloween night extravaganza. #winning

Tru2Chevy 10-29-2011 05:17 PM

Oh boy.....slutty snow-biddies everywhere!

- Justin

BullittSVT 10-30-2011 08:42 AM

Worst it got here in the AC area was a kind of slushy maybe a tiny bit of snow that never stuck to the ground.

Anti_Rice_Guy 10-30-2011 09:34 PM

I just got power back. We didn't have cell service, landline or power all day until now.

~a foot of snow here. Tons of trees down.

Amazing the difference. I drove down the shore yesterday and it was blizzard-ing here until about 287, then it was lightly snowing, then just raining from PNC on south but crazy winds by the shore.

Well that sucked. 6 inches at my house in Somerset county. Landlord says they will take care of plowing and yet I'm out there shoveling the damn ROCK driveway. Also:

Summer tires + FWD + snow =
