$395.95 includes hardware but I don't think y-pipe too (at least I don't see anything)

Edit: those are shortys my bad =P didn't see LTs

Here are the ones I have.. They will probably be a little more exspensive for the LT1 as most stuff is..

Yikes. I would be worried about the rasp and drone vs. the header brand.

Other than having to have them tuned out, in the overall scheme of things, does it really matter? Having em on longtubes, just seems ironic.

deadtrend1 04-20-2012 05:11 PM

I thought it would matter to the fact that a tune would add to the cost. My mistake ...

LTb1ow 04-20-2012 05:19 PM

Well since its a OBD2 car and 02 deletes are kinda hard to find these days, I just assumed a tune was needed anyway, but you're right, I'm wrong, sorry. Glad you fixed it all up

deadtrend1 04-20-2012 05:31 PM

Dont know what you are getting at by saying "i fixed it up". But ill shut up now, and let the experts handle it.

Slow-V6 04-21-2012 07:20 AM

I had some O2 sims on my car before I got a tune. Sold them a year ago. I believe I picked them up on Tech for like 20.00..

Leave the solenoid plugged in and you won't throw a code. Disconnect air pump and you won't throw a code. Tune free modding!

Edit: Just saw its a 97, I think only 95 and older can get away with this.

Not really ironic or anything of the sort if you want to stay legal...technically he fails inspection and some places won't think twice of failing him. What if he moves to a different state that has a bunch of smog nazi's?

Yeah....how dare someone throw some other perspective into the mix lol

Any state of the grand ole US of A will automatically fail for longtubes, its a federal offense to move cats from their stock locations, so having EGR/AIR is plain silly. If they are looking hard enough to find them, then they will know that long tubes are illegal.

Granted, I guess if he ever needed to swap back in manifolds, then sure, leaving EGR/AIR would be beneficial. Perspective, achieved. Just stay stock.
