Jebus... 4K? I'd get rid of the Yukon and Z28 and put the Silverado under a recreational vehicle (that is if you don't drive much) and then purchase an AWD vehicle to conquer all weather situations. I daily drive my Camaros in the winter, thankfully not much snow this year.. that is if you're brave enough to even go out in the snow with one. Wait for that insurance to go down and purchase another toy later down the road!

the truck is already under recreational lol. its only 900$ a year it moves maybe 3k a year if that.

guys to be honest if it snows alot i can just jack my sisters car because she wont be going anywhere. but i dont really want to rely on that

just buy a little beater for the winter

Just store the camaro for a few years under a cover until your insurance goes down.

I'd be hard pressed not to ditch all of them if I were in your situation. I pay less than that for 6 cars and homeowners. Add up all you pay for those cars, including storage, registration and maintenance, then divide by miles driven. It might spook you. And that is on top of throwing away money renting an apartment. Wow. Are you making payments on all 3?? It looks like your 22, that is a lot of money in depreciating assets to own.

at minimum, if the SS is your #1, get rid of the rest and get a nice simple daily driver/beater.

i did the math its disgusting. which is why im in this situation. yes i am 22 and unfortunately i am probably going to have to get rid of the camaro due to it being the most impractical of my cars. and what sucks is insurance is more on a 09 accord than a 07 tahoe :hammer:

Get a cheap 4wd beater, like an older cherokee etc, and run only liability.

Slow-V6 07-01-2012 09:05 AM

We have my Vette under USAA Full coverage and we told them its only driven 2000 miles a year. They give us a pretty good discount since I can prove that I have a daily driver and that the Vette is not a daily.. Have you tried that with your insurance company??

This definitely sounds like your best option. As hard as it would be, I would sell the Camaro and the Tahoe and get a decent older DD. Cherokee would be a good option (plenty of Jeep people here to answer questions about that too!), and there are many other vehicles that would also work well.

He was saying no to the post directly above his. Don't try to cherry pick your trolling.
