Sorry to hear about all the pain your wife and you are going through.
I just lost my son to a motorcycle accident 6/16/12. We were very close and just had a father and son dinner for father's day two days before his passing. I was devastated to hear the news about my son but a peace came over me which I read about in the Bible, a peace that surpasses all understanding. I can't explain it but I know my son is with the prince of peace JESUS and that is what gives me so much comfort in my heart.

Thx to all. As of this moment Ginny is still in this world, and she is being moved to hospice. My sister is coming down today, so that will be a nice respite from everything. Oh well, back to the grind...

3.4 sorry about your son bob are they sending a nurse to your house or are they taking care of her in the hospital

She is going to be cared for at her sister's house. Her sister is a doctor so she will have the best of care. Plus it is close by so I can get there quickly.

Wow Bob, so sorry to hear about this turn for the worse. At least her final moments will be in a familiar place that is easy for you to get to rather than a strange hospital room. Saying a prayer for you and your entire family.

Wow Bob, I'm so sorry to read this. My wife is a hospice nurse up here in North Jersey, so I know they will do everything they can to keep your wife comfortable and peaceful. Hang in there - you're one tough man, and your faith will pull you through it all. God Bless!

I don't know your family/friend situation, but I've found grieving together to be the easiest thing during times like these. Keep your faith strong during this trying time, and know she's in a better place now. I'll include you both in my prayers this evening. I'm sorry.

This is terrible to hear Bob. I know I am one of those who should be admonished for my failure to reach out during your tough times. I'll be out of the state for a week, but when I get back I'd like to take ya out for a burger somewhere. I know it won't make anything better, but at the very least might be a welcome distraction. :(
