Well, his best run is a 14.317

Since then he has installed an electric water pump, !MAF screen, adjusted MAF tables and timing tables with HP Tuners, dropped the front sway bar, and *hopefully* will have the Weld Prostars on the rear along with his skinnies.....

It's not guaranteed to run 13's, but I think James is just worried that Craig will be faster than he is soon.....

don't be hating!!! :burnout:
it is not out of the question that he could put up a 13 second run. it is not the easiest thing to do, but it is with in reason.
the car is a few lbs lighter and will have a bit more power than before. if he can grab a 60ft in the 1.8's and pick up 1 mph that shoudl get him with in range. like i said, not easy, but with in reason.

YES!!! FRIDAY 9:5- to 2!!! Maybe there really is a God. Well, I'll be there. Hopefully I can get Tony off of his dead ass and get him to bring his Iroc. Shelly will be making an appearance, but shes in no condition to run...or show off the sound system. Right now all the speakers are underpowered, except for the RF speaker, which is OVERPOWERED (dont ask. I dont know why yet) so when i turn it on, it sounds like only one speaker works...well, at least shes got a great body to show off. Sexy curves.

The car doesn't mind the lack of MAF screen. No tip-in knock or anything. I adjusted the MAF tables +2% to compensate for the added flow. Don't listen to all those CV6 guys...

eh just wondering....i remember a guy from CV6 dynoing his car with and w/o the MAF screen, and he lost like 1-2 HP w/o it.

the thing to remeber when a mod like descreening the maf is done is to compensate for the new air flow and the change in the counts that the sensor will see.
if the screen is removed and the tables are not changed it is very likely that a loss of power or odd spikes in power will occur.
that is the advantage that craig has with a program like hptuners. he went to their web site and did a quick search and found the correct adjustments to make to compensate.
tuning is always the correct last step whenever changes in airflow in or out of the engine are made. in a perfect world everyoen would have access to this stuff.
