Amazing

MDSheds_SS 04-26-2017 06:08 AM

Buy very short suspension travelers so the wheels come up.

Not only does that rage comic give this a BOA 2010-12 feel, it makes every single dollar I've spent on the car so far worth it

Im trying to, but TEA seems to be at the Playa Haters ball the past few days

LTb1ow 04-28-2017 10:07 AM

Tell em you got a fleet of audis and this is just a play toy for the weekend demo derby

wretched73 04-28-2017 01:10 PM

You're looking to get TEA heads? Which ones? Some real info in these build threads would be WONDERFUL

Just porting of my 243s.

there is all the info you could want sprinkled in. Mostly in the form of pictures, but to sum it up

Fast 92/243s/Cam
4l60e with a stall
full suspension

qwikz28 04-28-2017 03:42 PM

Who is doing the porting?

98% TEA, if they ever answer my emails.

Right now I'm in the port & polish my heads OR buy nitrous kit boat

qwikz28 04-28-2017 04:00 PM

I had a happy experience with Advanced Inductions if TEA doesn't respond and you decide against nitrous.

According to Street Outlaws, you have to change your pistons after every race when you run nitrous. That sounds inconvenient.

AI was in the cards too.

What i need to know from TEA is that they list valve springs are included in the service, however i already have a set of Ti Retainer BTR .660 springs waiting to go on. Id like to send them out with my heads and just use them and save some dollars and time not having to sell my BTR set.

KirkEvil 04-29-2017 08:24 PM

If they decline using the BTR springs you supply, just ask for the head porting and valves, and I'll assemble the springs for you
