I tried adjusting the steering column while turning the key in the ignition..... nothing.

Wiring done by GM dealer (back in 97) for aftermarket alarm system has shoddy/ piss poor connections.

My neighbor (works at an auto shop and specializes in electrical) traced it.... and we redid the wiring.
