Holy crap that's a lot of $$$, especially with only have a $1,000 deductible.

i'm looking forward to switching to FL plates and having cheaper insurance under my own name

look forward to having cops pull you over all the time asking you what your doing around here and why you have out of state plates. i get it all the time. one cop pulled me over to tell me to go back to NY. i thought it was hilarious

i guess im kinda late to join the party, but congrats on the lower rate liz!

My insurance did the same thing when i had was with them for 3 years, then again at 5 years. I think my next insurance drop will come when I'm 25, then maybe i'll be able to afford full coverage... and maybe even a vehicle that deserves full coverage.

NJ still needs auto insurance reform, its a joke here.

1337jeeper, if you get a ticket with points, those points stay on your insurance driving record for 3 years from the time you were "convicted"/paid the fine, and it will be factored into your rates every year you renew. depending on the timing/date of the ticket paid and when your policy renews, it may overlap so youll actually be paying for the points for 4 years. I think companys like geico check 5 years back when writing a policy so some insurance companys may hold points longer, but i think 3 years is the average.

i'm down to only 2 points on my insurance from a speeding ticket i got in VA in jan 2004. jan 2007 it will be gone, BUT my policy renews in 9/2006, so it wont show a decrease in my policy till 9/2007.

they pulled me over the first day of school when i pulled out of the highschool lot but waited until i was half-way up the hill to catch up to me... past the middle school (1/4-1/2 mile away)

then exactly a week later they pulled me over on franklin tpke. (female cop, only one in town) she pulls out in front of me & stops in the middle of the road. then proceeds to tell me that i was going so fast when i slowed she heard my tires squeal.

you stop in front of me in a 35 & ask why my tires squeal... hmm...

i hate mahwah cops.
