And I would take j0n's advice - if you don't get something good worked out with this guy, I would go to either MadZ28 or PCM4Less

- Justin

im going with MadZ28, jerkoff has proven that his tunes work so thats what im goin off of. i mean look at when his car did???

94lt4373 10-07-2007 09:25 PM

Well I got a tune from madz28... then my car was bouncing of the rev limiter on full out shifts. Ion thought it was my trans slipping so I brought it down to my dads shop and hooked it up to their computer. Ion was dead on so the trans is getting pulled monday. That would explain some lost time in the1/4

im too lazy to read all the pages and i dont know much about LT1s but id say get a good stall at least 3000 maybe 3200rpm, if you dont have headers, get those, and looking at those low trap speeds, id say it might be pulling timing perhaps. i remember when i was running 12.5's at 111 one time then 12.7 @ 109 im like wtf?? it was pulling 4* of timing and hurting my top end. you are running 93 octane as well right?

you called me that night all amped and stuff and then i got amped because u pulled a 12.7 and the amperage was definately up that night!

 you should ask Martin why his Lightning is stuck in the 14.4 range, and Nicks Runs 13.3. Same Truck, Same mods, been in both trucks they are equally quick, but somehow there is a full second missing...

What rpm should i take off at?

98tadriver 02-21-2008 11:22 AM

whats your stall converter good for again? alot of A4 people seem to have luck with "Flashing" the converter. Basically, if your tires can hook, you sit there at idle, and when youre ready to go down the track, HAMMER DOWN! the rpms jump up, torque multiplies and u take off like a bat outta hell. A4 guys with stalls or knowledge on them could tell u. im pretty sure right on that

bubba428 02-21-2008 12:36 PM

I had good luck "flashing" the stocker dropped .1 off my 60' and my 1/4

NJ Torque 02-21-2008 12:57 PM

If you want a hand tuning, I could always try to help, I have a scanmaster and datalogger... Also to help set the car up and show you a few pointers about luanching.

Thanks NJ Torque, when the weather breaks that would be great
