Well I got a tune from madz28... then my car was bouncing of the rev limiter on full out shifts. Ion thought it was my trans slipping so I brought it down to my dads shop and hooked it up to their computer. Ion was dead on so the trans is getting pulled monday. That would explain some lost time in the1/4

im too lazy to read all the pages and i dont know much about LT1s but id say get a good stall at least 3000 maybe 3200rpm, if you dont have headers, get those, and looking at those low trap speeds, id say it might be pulling timing perhaps. i remember when i was running 12.5's at 111 one time then 12.7 @ 109 im like wtf?? it was pulling 4* of timing and hurting my top end. you are running 93 octane as well right?

lol good! now hit 12s! :) |
What rpm should i take off at?
|
whats your stall converter good for again? alot of A4 people seem to have luck with "Flashing" the converter. Basically, if your tires can hook, you sit there at idle, and when youre ready to go down the track, HAMMER DOWN! the rpms jump up, torque multiplies and u take off like a bat outta hell. A4 guys with stalls or knowledge on them could tell u. im pretty sure right on that

I had good luck "flashing" the stocker dropped .1 off my 60' and my 1/4

If you want a hand tuning, I could always try to help, I have a scanmaster and datalogger... Also to help set the car up and show you a few pointers about luanching.

Thanks NJ Torque, when the weather breaks that would be great
