OK, explain this to me, right-wing geniuses: Because you folks wanted to nail
Bill Clinton on whatever you could (or couldn't) find on him (so much for "you
have to respect the president and support him because he's the president, and if you don't you hate America, right ? ), we the taxpayer spent millions and millions of dollars on a four-year partisan witch-hunt called "the Whitewater investigation" which was supposedly an investigation about how Bill and Hillary did something wrong LONG BEFORE they got to the White House...in a real estate deal they LOST money on.

Fine.

less than 2 yrs. ago, we had Republican Speaker Dennis Hastert making at least $1.5 MILLION in a blatantly bull*** real estate deal by buying some cheap boondock farmland, then passing a pork-barel bill to subsidize a highway running by it... then presto, a few months after it passes, cashing out and selling to a developer and making a million and a half profit PERSONALLY (let alone his partners.)

This, of course, is no big deal, and there was no investigation, of
course. And anyone who wonders if maybe this was, like, bull**** was called a Saddam-loving tree-hugging liberal faggot traitor.

Why is that, exactly ? Is being a Republican politician like having a license
to steal and defraud the taxpayer ? Maybe you're proud of this kind of "honesty and integrity" thing ?

Or are you idiots just so f---ing stupid that you don't have an opinoin about
anything until Denny "hey, it's only 1.5 million, what's the big deal" Hastert
or Rush "lock up all drug addicts other than me" Limbaugh or Ann "I support
terrorism and hate American victims of terrorism" Coulter tells you what to
think ?

Or is it that you couldn't give a f*** about any politician's scams, so long
as they are the particular guys whose c**ks you suck, and not the other ones ?

Any explanation would be appreciated -- though I won't hold my breath, since
you morons only know how to say "liberals hate America !!!" and that's about
the extent of your abilities to communicate on any subject whatsoever.

Hey bob this one word political post is like pissing on someones leg and saying its just water ya think -- jz

And john G you really dont think anyone believes you now do you, after seeing this little clip of things said before Irak and what wee have been told after who said what , now do you - just trying to keep the truth above the left smear you like to print -- jz

Nope, she'd never get my vote.

****stop reading Bob****

I'm not going to vote for a lying power hungry, inexperienced bitch because of who her husband is. I can't tell you have many people are voting for her just for the fact that's she's a woman. They couldn't tell you anything more than she's Bill's husband  Listen to her speeches people, "mandate" this "demand" that. She could care less about working with people, she's going to get what she wants or she's going to stomp her feet and hold her breath.

Though I'd love to have a nationalized healthcare system, I mean I already love paying for fatherless crack babies on welfare, let's pay for more! No wonder why the drug companies are backing Billary, if the government pays $500 for a toilet seat in their budget imagine what they'll give the drug companies for Viagra

I think we're screwed on the GOP side too. McCain's immigration policy is a nightmare and a joke, his stance on Global Warming is going to cost us an INSANE amount $$(thanks Al Gore). The only thing worthwhile is his stance on the war in not rushing to bring our troops out ASAP. His financial advisor's seem ok from what I've been reading. I don't know, another election where the regular guy gets left out.

Whitewater scandle...shesh why dont you just pull out all the shady **** Bush has done, and failed at, his entire life?
Why dont we investigate Cheney's involvement with Halaburton?
How come we cannot investigate EVERYONE with the ferocity that they did the Clintons?
Why are Republicans so threatened by this name? This seemingly quiet Gov from Arkansas has just burned the Republicans so bad that they have been ready to hunt every little fault of thiers down as soon as they can.
It was a contant barage of scandels and other ******** that just slung **** around the politicial landscape. I think that the Republicans are scared ****less since neither Bush has done a single thing for America in the 12 years they have had control of the country combined. Both of them had put us into a recession, have destroyed the economy, have destroyed manufacturing and technological expansion, and have ****ED us as a people.
You have stood by your man for far too long. Its now time to wake the **** up.
Bill did 100x the job either Bush did, amungst all the slung **** you threw at him. Is all this Patriotic ******** is gunna go right out the door when Clinton is voted in? Will all that "stand by your president" ******** just suddenly fall out of favor? Will supporting your country now make you a women loving fag?
Or will you go right back to the **** slinnging again? Dig deeper into her past? See if she cheated on her history final in 8th grade? Maybe she called someone a "poopie face" in kindergarden? How ****ing deep are you gunna go this time?

Al, nobodies arguing that bush isn't a terrible president... in fact, i believe you're the only person who keeps comparing people to him. this discussion is about the future president and how they're gonna get us out of the mess that bush put us in. stop trying to compare bad to worse..

PBodyGT87 02-11-2008 09:26 AM

I didn't say I was right wing, I clearly stated, that I'm registered independent.
I'm also not saying that Bush was a great president. Politics is the most corrupt part of this country, and any country, for that matter, because no one is ever right. What I can give, is my opinion. And luckily, I can do it without cursing my head off on this board just to try to prove my point. I've had my share of political courses in college, I've had to do a lot of research, and what never seems to fail is that so many people only strictly rely on the media to tell you what is going on. You have to look at a view that is not biased by some author, you need facts. Example Fact: Clinton was impeached. Clinton lied under oath.

Now you make an assessment.

From what I've studied, Clinton was a good president as far as what some of the media could show. But from the facts, the Clintons have made many costly mistakes. So has Bush, So has Kennedy, So has Nixon, so on and so forth. What's important is that you do your research, and hopefully, you won't end up some guy screaming obscenities to a group of people online. At least have a suitable discussion.

He was impeached about lying about getting a blow job.
HUGE difference with some of the **** that has currently been going on.
Look how the country was? I dont rely on the media, I lived durring the times, as did many of us. What did he **** up? It was pretty nice. We had a surplus of money.
We can talk about Bill and rip on him, so we cant talk about Bush?
Oh Im gunna compare things to Bush because the same people bashing Clinton, stood by Bush through all his ********. You stand by his ideas, his decisions, and you stand up next to him, proud.
No one says the impeach word with him, even though he lied. Just listen to that video...ugh you people voted him back into office!!!

Ill scream what I feel, cause you post up crap about Clinton, and base your opinions on Hilary off of her husband and your false idea that he "screwed up".

Look at the real stuff. She is a very strong person, and when you hear her talk she does demand things. I want someone that is gunna be in the seat of power and want things done. Bill can and will be her best asset as he has amazing foreign ties with several countries. Both of them are great speakers, and they command attention.
I think Obama also has that about him, but he doesnt have the status nor the time to deal with political issues.

Romney and Huckabee stand on nothing. They tote the Republican line, especially Huckabee with his right wing religious nonsense.
McCain has the only chance to take on the fence dems away from Clinton/Obama. He has the time in, has major knowlage on how to deal with congress and the senate.

Everyone else has great ideas, and Im sure they would work fine, but none of them work on helping us.

National Health Care works in every other G8 country BUT the richest one. We talk about goverment spending by the Dems, but lets not talk about the trillions we are pouring into Iraq and Afganastan. Lets not talk about the billions of dollars poured into defense contracts to "help rebuild" Iraq.
This 600 dollar rebate check, which is a waste of time, another great idea by the Republicans. BUT it took the evil Dems to include VETS! Holy ****, did the Pro-Military forget about giving money to military familes? The Dems had to include that, along with the elderly!! THE ELDERLY!!
The Pro-Military Republicans have cut funding for helping the guys coming back from Iraq. They didnt supply the proper armor and weapons for going into Iraq. They lauched a full attack with half the **** they needed. And dont point fingers at the Dems for cutting that out. The Dems were standing up for the troops, asking for money.

that is an excellent observation.

Did you ever think it was your own money you were getting back because as NEW JERSEY residents we are over taxed on our property and they realized it and wanted to make themselves look good by giving us a tax relief for money that shouldn't have been taken away in the first place????

Oh yeah, let's not forget the 1% sales tax increase that cuts into that rebate check you got as well. Thanks alot corSLIME

Al, I guess Clinton's deals with China are really helping us now eh? C'mon. The second some says something bad about Billy-boy you jump on the "I hate Bush" brigade when no one was comparing the two. Sure, our economy isn't strong right now but last I checked the economy was heading straight for a recession when W took over and it took this long to REALLY show up. You have the attitude the Bush did no right and Clinton did no wrong when that is so far from the truth it's not even funny. To hell with his blow job issue, who cares...he made A TON of shady deals that we're paying for now and in the future.

***I'm not saying Clinton was a horrible president but wake the hell up, he was FAR from perfect***

Companies leaving with, jobs going overseas, American pride in the workplace has been erroding for DECADES, it's not something that just suddenly popped up when Bush took over  You think the economy is bad now, you people PLEASE tell me ONE thing the Democrats are going to do to stave off a full blown recession aside from hammering the rich with taxes....

Wait, national healthcare works in other counties? Are you KIDDING me? Go ask a bunch of Canadians how great their healthcare system is. If nationalized healthcare is soooo great why is France getting away from it? Oh that's right, because they had a 12 billion dollar budget deficit JUST on their healthcare system. Right now, the way the economy is and how much this country is spending a nationalized healthcare system could be one of the WORST things to do. It'd cost this country so much $$ it's not even funny...and let me guess...good 'ol Billary is going to do it without raises our taxes? Riiiiiiiight. A super left Democrat can't sneeze without raising taxes.

Actually, when Clinton left office we had the lowest national deficit since the Civil War, and the lowest unemployment in 40 years.

oh, and since Bush took office, we've created the largest deficit in history, and the largest deficit swing from one administration to the next in history as well.

Frosty 02-11-2008 07:11 PM

Some people say Clinton's BUDGET deficit was low and others say our NATIONAL deficit was low. Can your clarify? So which is it? There's a big difference between the two.

Also, unemployment was low for most of Bush's first term. However the things you listed above don't show this country's economy was doing great, read some economical reports from that time, a lot say the economy was tailing off towards Billy's term.

Regardless if you agree with the wars or not war kills a budget. Now I'm not defending Bush, that's one of the things that piss me off about his Administration. The spending which usually Republicans are conservative on. The other thing is smaller government which went out the window with the Patriot Act.

National debt is the total amount of money owed by the government. Budget deficit is the annual amount of money that spending exceeds revenue. In both cases, Clinton reduced the national debt to its lowest since the Civil War, erasing all budget deficits for nearly 150 years, and Bush not only put them all back on, but added more than at any point in history.

That BJ hurt the U.S.? How? Bush, has lied several times as well like we were supposed to be out of Iraq in the summer of '05 or '06! Check your calendar dude it's '08 and we're still there wasting time and money! Not to mention that there is 3906 casualties since the war began and 29,000+ wounded! Why?
