Jersey shore people dont go to LBI, we go farther south to Wildwood or Ocean City.

Benny's go to Seaside-LBI stretch.

I'm glad you speak for all Jersey shore people even though you're wrong. My family has owned a place near Seaside since 1962 and my inlaws have owned a place on LBI since 1972. We are definitely not Bennys.:nono:

yeah, and in the winter months it's full of section 8ers... (read the housing code - it's not the same as the military's section 8 ). talk about your upstanding citizen... mostly white trash with kids from different fathers. seaside does the same thing during the winter. then they kick them all out in may so that the rental owners can make $2000 per week as opposed to the $800 per month they get from the section 8ers.

i've lived in 609. i gotta tell ya, my home town used to be a pig farm. in the summer, if the wind was blowin' jes right... you couldn't breath. and you'll never guess (unless i told you before) what town that is... it looks nothing like it used to. and i think they even did away with the pig farms. one of the funniest sights i ever saw was a pair of brothers leaning over the fence, beating the pigs with a stick. how they looked at us as if we weren't even there, and then continued to beat those pigs after they realized we weren't cops...

i've lived in 908. 856. 732. never in 610, tho (pennsyltuckians, ptooey). i wonder if you really got down to looking at area codes which one would have the most psychos... and i'm guessing it ain't in the south.

:stupid: my grandmother bought property in west creek (609) on the mainland, the bay, across from LBI back in the 60's and my family has been going there ever since. Anyway, the argument was that 609 is redneck, LBI is 609 and not redneck...thats all I was saying.

Where does your family reside most of the year?

if you aren't at the shore year round, your a benny. we go from 10,000 people to 100,000+ in the summer. i don't mind though, quite a boost in the local economy. and fun to yell at everyone. I'm sure driving in the North on a sunday heading north is awesome!
