i was stating that his firebird heavier than the avg firebird cause its vert.
I also brought the ls1 in because the other guy was comparing what he
ran in his stock ls1.
i still think the charger will win. i want the chicken to win

i was comparing transmissions. a 96 LT1 t56 transmission has the same gear ratio as a 98-02 F body 6sdpd. my car has 373s. his car has 3.73s, my redline is a lil higher than his from the factory. with 3.42 gears, my car hit rev limiter in 3rd by the 1,000' mark. with 3.73s it would hit like right after the 1/8th. so what im saying is, leaving it in 3rd will hurt him more than anything. im not bragging about my car or saying that LT1's are boat anchors.

<< no LCA relocation brackets, stock torque arm, stock pan hard bar. do LCAs for now and get some sticky tires.

btw it seems that you have almost the same mods as me, would you like to race me with your god engine car? maybe something to make it interesting?

actually i will be getting dr's soon and be heading to the track. 12.70's isnt
far off of where im hoping to land up. with dr's im sure i can cut 12.90s, but im not heading to the track until after inspection..getting an ls6 intake and panhard before i go too....but im sure we can find something to make it interesting. a few stanky franky's or some action jackson's and im in. im just running on 1/32nds left on the bfg's.

Borla Catback, Lid and Lca's. once i get inspected and pass emissions im throwing on an ls6 intake and egr delete and getting some tires.

The egr delete will pass emissions as long as you get a tune. Ill race ya in the trailblazer :)

One thing straight. Ive tracked cars before, just not this one.
With the mods i have now if i had a good set of dr's i can probably
snag a high 12 with favorable conditions. Only thing i need is a bulb
and tires to pass inspection. i still have a few days left on my pink card.
Im waiting on my rebate check for tires. i want some dr's but i think im
gonna get some sumitomo htrz for cheap right now ive heard some good things
about em over on ls1tech.com

Get a guy in NJ that won't really look hard at the visual stuff and you'll pass with ease.

Then again you have a LS1 so it'll pass with no problem...if it was a LT1 they'd fail it because it's a heavy boat anchor of a motor........................
