Way to bring that up, idc. Why? Because fact is Philly STILL has yet to win a superbowl. Where as the Giants have won 3. Thank you.

Pass interference should of been called and mcnabb should learn how to throw

NJ346 01-18-2009 05:26 PM

Thank god philly didn't make it. Imagine what that city would have turning into after no professional championships in like 30 years and then all of a sudden getting 2 in one year. The city would go crazy if that happened....glad it didn't :D

JL8Jeff 01-18-2009 05:27 PM

Cards tanked in the 2nd half which is unexplainable. Tough to call interference on that play but he should have caught the pass anyway. Not a pretty finish to the game, that's for sure. If Donovan would have led his receivers on some of those passes they would have won. I can't believe the Cards defense allowed the Eagles receivers to get behind them on a couple of those plays. Eagles got the miscall of the game with the kick that did not go out bounds and should have been the Cards in scoring position. At least it was an exciting game at the end. It looked like a blowout at half time. Steelers/Ravens should be a good game.

baddest434 01-18-2009 05:27 PM

what a good game. tuff no call at the end wheather or not it was a penalty. surely all eagle fans will be crying about it but get over it the games over.

who would have thought the cards in the SB....wow

noboundreez2345 01-18-2009 05:28 PM

So happy the eagles are out. I feel like as a Giant fan I got some redemption. It doesn't even matter that the Cardinals are going to the big game. As long as its not Dallas or Philly.

Squirrel 01-18-2009 05:28 PM

the 2nd half was one of the best runs of any team ive seen in a long time

The first game was good. I think the Steelers/Ravens game is going to be less entertaining. I for one, like high scoring games. I have a feeling this game's gonna turn out to be some 8-7 win for one of the teams.....boring.

Frosty 01-18-2009 05:32 PM

It was a good ride and YES that was P.I. on Curtis, that's a call that should've been made however they shouldn't have been in that position. A flat start, inconsistent ******* and a well coached first half by the Cards was a lot of overcome...bet no one thought the Eagles would come back and make a game of it. ;)

Kudos to the Cards...they played pretty well.

All is not lost Eagles fans, they sent the Cowboys and their idiot fans and the scumbag Giants packing so it wasn't a total failure this year. :)

jimmyboy8301 01-18-2009 05:33 PM

eagles deserve credit for making it as far as they did, but i'm sure plenty of people will have plenty of BS to say about that, but it all comes down to the fact that the eagles played like ***** and blew an important game once gain. congrats to the REAL cardinals fans. and there is always next year.

The Eagles have 3 championships in their franchise history chief...I guess history pre-Super Bowl is null and void?

Well, I've been saying SUPERBOWL All this time, so yes. Null and Void!

Kat 01-18-2009 05:44 PM

and for the record... Three championships it would have been this year.. The Soul started the trend. lol

SupermanX24 01-18-2009 05:47 PM

And frosty if you wanna go into history, the Giants won 3 championships too...which in this case would still mean the giants have won twice as many. Oh, And we don't have a 49 year title drought either...

But a Superbowl means championship....;) If the NFL changes the championship from Super Bowl to the Chicken Dance does that mean anything?

...and? Tsar brought up the Eagles beating the Giants and you reverted to Super Bowls(which is also championships which is also irrelevant when talking about this season).

jimmyboy8301 01-18-2009 05:53 PM

...yet they are too good to change their name to NEW JERSEY giants since that is where their stadium is, and after all these years they haven't moved to a NY stadium yet. i'm sorry, but for baseball i'm a die hard Yankees fan, but for football i can't root for a team that didn't want to be named for the state they play in.

mystictealLT1 01-18-2009 05:53 PM

blah blah blah still a eagles fan always will be,nice try eagles...least you knocked out the cowboys and giants

he just can't admit that for THIS YEAR the eagles out played the giants and were better. i can easily admit that the eagles were out played today and apparently didn't want it bad enough. i guess he's just delusional.

SupermanX24 01-18-2009 05:54 PM

Eh, baseball sucks too. *waits to get attacked*

No. it would still mean they won 3 more. 2 x 0 = 0

Yup, I take comfort in that. The season wasn't a total loss..it just sucks that it ended with them being "so close"...AGAIN lol

The Eagles wanted it, they just came out flat and got outplayed BIG TIME in the first half. Kudos to the Cards and their coaching staff...they called one hell of a first half.

if the eagles played the first half like they played the 2nd half it would have been different

True, but they didn't. I'm not going to sit there and dog the Eagles and put all of the blame on them, credit has to be given to the Cards.
