your still missing the fact that bolt-on cars do trap 117 and would run out of "gear" if they didn't raise the rev limiter. Are you really that stupid?

that's because I'm on stock clutch. If your not putting the power to the ground your not going to trap 117. :moon: The car will have a clutch in it within the next month.

Now your a real idiot...cause my car wasn't dyno'd at TTP...it was Dyno'd at ECS....and with all my bolt on's made power to 5800....but your still a tool....cause if you wanna look up what people are commonly running with bolt ons a 117 mph is pretty common....

I have an in car video showing my car dead hooks and bogs....so I'm losing mph. THanks for your interest though.

I'm not gonna admit I'm wrong if I'm really not wrong! Granted my car still has 3:42's. My shift light is set at 5800 and I shift at shift light! I have 4:10s in my garage waiting to be installed so I do need the 6200 rev limiter! What do you not understand?

A. Any reputable shop will not adjust the rev limiter to 6200 without asking.
B. You might want to use a gear calculator, 4.10 + 26" tire + 6200 = 117 mph
which you will not achieve with a bolt on car.
C. I don't hide behind any username everything posted is under here.
D. My daily driver on a street tire has run faster then your best on radials with skinnies.

So you have a car that was worked on by your brother the shop owner and talented tuner that is quicker than a 17 year old doing it on his own? Whoopity doo, what kind of cookie would you like with your badge of super awesomeness?

Ringing LS1's, even with mileage on them, past the factory rev limiter with bolt ons is a common practice. They are strong motors and they stay together for a long time.

If or when Vinnie decides to change the rev limiter it will be fine for him. Now stop posting in threads if all you are gonna do is stir **** up.

Yes, but not that he worked for one or had anything to do with a certain shop's race car.....

NJNETSFAN dont waste anymore time with this conversation. It will be endless. Me and several others have witnessed the bull crap first hand a week ago at Island.

FYI if you spin off the line your MPH WILL be higher than usual.

And to all a good night.

01blackz28 05-03-2009 08:47 PM

aww thats cute you guys film each others cars racing at atco and now you have to defend each other on internet forums. 117 full weight which someone previous stated is very uncommon.
