sweetbmxrider 06-10-2009 02:53 PM

so no mileage limitation?

NJ346 06-10-2009 07:15 PM

Mike why does it matter if it doesn't pass inspection? By putting the miles on it like he does, he's showing that it can be daily driven and not just some "pump gas streeter" that has to be trailored to a race....his is driven to the track, back, and then out to get some groceries.

LTb1ow 06-10-2009 07:17 PM

Street car is a car that is street legal and passes inspection, like mine. :)

JSPERFORMANCE 06-10-2009 07:34 PM

You guys are too much.

If you have the money I will bring a car out. I don't care about your stipulations with street cars and inspection.

Bring a car out that runs on pump gas and a street tire and I will be more than happy to take your money.

Bring a full race car. That is fine I will still take your money. Just let me know which car to bring.

Thank you,
Josh

LTb1ow 06-10-2009 07:40 PM

How about a bicycle?

Cause I think I will take your money. ;)

JSPERFORMANCE 06-10-2009 07:47 PM

More stipulations... Dont worry about how I get it there and unless you have something to bring to the race I suggest you keep your comments to yourself..

Not likely.. Raced BMX from age 10-16 and sponsored by Haro I was ranked as good as 24th I think in the ABA in 95. I may be a little out of shape but I could probably give you a run! I even have my bike still...HA HA

Getting a car to run single diggets on pumpgas is an accomplishment....to be able to realistically drive the car on the street and go fast(not as fast), is more respectable in my book.

btw, y dont u make ur own call out thread?

JSPERFORMANCE 06-10-2009 08:00 PM

OK let me know when your car makes its first nine second pass. You can call me on your ride home.. Maybe you should work on the whole 11 second time slip first..

I drive my car plenty on the street, put 2800 miles on it last summer I think. I choose not to drive my car to the track because if something breaks I do not wish to have to scramble for a tow or bug a favor to get a trailer to pick me up. Not having to cart around tools all the time is nice as well. I also enjoy being able to sit in the A/C while waiting between rounds.

We can get into a pissing war and all(like I know someone who has gone 8s on pumpgas), but I'd like to see a race get off.

So are you guys meeting up at Sonic tonight to get the race all settled?

its one thing to drive a race car on the street, its another to have a street car. a street car should have its i's dotted and t's crossed in case you encounter an enthusiastic local cop or a mobile inspection station.

there is videos on you tube of a 7 second mustang taking a trip to burger king, is that a street car?

there is people that tow their bone stock grand nationals to the track, are they race cars?
