all the $ spent to keep these foockers out cause they are always tryin to float themselves on a raft over here, and we drop everything to help them get in.

GOD FORBID the U.S. worries about it self for once!!!

I know plenty of places those miliions or billions of dollars could go to besides haiti.

homeless people(in the U.S.)

families that are losing there homes

families with loss of income due to LOVED ONES that were lost overseas due to ******** that we should'nt be sticking our noses in

ones that can't afford college & can't get assistance cause they aren't of spanish or african american decent

mom & pop business that are getting runout by big corporations
etc.. etc.. etc...

Frosty 01-24-2010 10:34 PM

See, that's requires us growing a set of balls...which have apparently shrunk to the size of peas.

Everyone hates this country until there's a disaster. I know times are different than back in the early 1900's and it's a world economy blah blah blah but I really wish we could go back to being Isolationists. Don't bother us, we won't bother you. Tend to our own people and our own issues.

Not exactly this, but affirmative action needs to be trashed and everyone held to the same standards. If kids from rich area are all doing well in school and the ones in the poor area aren't, the solution isn't to throw a racial handicap in, but it should be to actually check out everything in that area from the schooling to the community to the families and find out WHY the kids aren't succeeding.

That would require intelligence and common sense, something government doesn't have. It's easier to blame someone/something else OR throw money at the problem instead of getting to the root of it all. It's like putting a band-aide on a 7'' gash.

are you kidding me? NO, they don't have common sense.

if the gov. had common sense , before shelling all that $ out to the insurance co., banks, car companys,
they should have came up with a plan to monitor the money or ration it out as needed.
the friggin vice c.o. or c.o. of aig had his office remodeled and purchased a $30,000.00 toilet for his office. where was the comon sense then?
common sense would have been the gov. monitorin the $ spent and to what it went to.

Gov. passed a bunch of bills to delegate $ in certain areas......
want to know what one of them was?

5 billion fund to citizens that couldnt afford cellphones or cable./internet service. Said this would help them get/search for jobs.
Common sense says that if you can't afford ****, and have no job, than get off your ass and go look for one and file applications.

come on man, this government has no common sense. the japs are the ones that have common sense. they are gonna be the ones to own/run/buy the world out. and the chinese aren't too far behind !!!

Hi I'm Richter Scale and Haiti 7.0 was my idea

...

Voodoo Priest: "There's good news and bad news. The bad news is that 100,000 Haitians died. The good news is that we now have enough zombies to take over all of Haiti!"

S.J.SLEEPER 01-25-2010 05:12 PM

back on topic I see.

I heard that haitians don't take showers anymore, cause they're washing up on the beach.

Adam1978 01-25-2010 11:11 PM

Did you hear about the earthquake in Haiti?

It caused $100 million worth of improvements!

Japanese's economy hasen't increased for the past 15 years, they are hurting just as bad as we are, but they at least had stuff to build and sell, so they aren't in as big a bucket of **** as we are. But if you switch Japanese with China in whose going to run the world soon, then your on the right track.

Oh, and I don't see why everyone's upset, alot of haitians now have a roof over their head. All it took was an earthquake, and being in the right place at the right time.

Squirrel 01-28-2010 05:14 PM

Yo Haiti I'm happy for you, and Ima gonna let yall finish, but Indonesia had the best natural disaster OF ALL TIME! ALL TIME!

Frosty 01-28-2010 05:49 PM

When the current administration stepped in, they put limits and restrictions.
But many Americans are up in arms that the goverment shouldnt meddle with the new success of the banks with restrictions and fees because thats not the American way.
Damed if you do, damed if you dont.

And its the Chinese....not the Japs. Japan has been in a recession for nearly 20 years.

transmaro93 01-28-2010 08:24 PM

TARP was issued before the current administration took office.
Banks are only NOW being forced to give back to Americans.
