This is good news but I am kind of disappointed because this does not make me feel any better about 9/11, the wars we are in and the loss of life. This news does not make me feel like the world is any different than it was previously. Hopefully this will be a stepping stone toward peace in the middle east.

Thanks to all the troops!

Well, what you have to hope is that there is not some other whack job just as sick and twisted that Al-Qaeda's been grooming in the event Bin Laden was killed. Hopefully they took DNA, a tooth, or something to make sure they got the right guy before dumping him in the ocean.

Yeah, I agree. I highly doubt they'd just make it up so it's believable, I just hope there's a lot of photos of HIM, not just his bloodied room. Time will tell. But regardless of that big thanks to Bush, Obama, the armed services and the intelligence agencies for making it all happen.

As far as impact on the organization this is probably true. However other countries and naysayers have always shoved the "Well, you didn't find Osama" back in our faces so this says something about our persistance.

yeah that would be like a major car company receiving a bailout and then making commercials saying they paid the government back....with their own money.

contrary to what the news and president says think about this.....how could we have killed him, done a DNA test and buried him in 24 hours.....i think we got him a week ago and they just didn't announce it till they were sure, and not to interfere with the royal wedding

When you have been hunting a guy for 10 years, spending billions of dollars, and sacrificing countless lives, I think they can handle a toe tag job.

i'd like to think so. then again, seeing how people do things and handle the simplest tasks, i have lost all faith in humanity!
