well most weekends im available in the mornings and afternoons... lets just set a date i guess and see whats good for people. this weekend is a little busy for me cause i already have some plans but when is good for you... apparently there is a some really good trails and pits down in bayville/beachwood area. adam said somthing about it and a guy that just started at my work wheels there with his son so that is an option for us too.

Just an FYI from someone whos ran lockrites and nothing but in all of his rigs.

Lockrite is an awesome cheap locker for the front axle when you've got manual hubs you can disconnect.

I ran one in the back of my 95 toyota and the back and front of my 87 chevy, both stick. I wont be running one in the back of my trooper. On the road theyre just too rough for a daily driven vehicle. They jerk the truck, still churp often, and dont unlock very easily (at least not in a manual trans truck as I think the slip in a torque converter would help them out a ton)

This build around Im gonna either fork out the dough for an ARB that I can disengage and have an open rear on the street with or try a detroit because Ive heard theyre much softer than lockrites.

O and also the lockrite, aussie, and any other lunch box locker are pretty much the same animal.

That looks like a cool ride, but last time I read that thread there was over 60 rigs going, and even with lots of organization it looks like it will be a cluster****.

Meh....I'd rather not go to some part of the state that none of us are very familiar with that is legally questionable.

21st is the south meet at Texas Road House, otherwise that would be cool.

Well if anyone wants to join were going to be meeting up at the pic at 1030 am.

transmaro93 08-17-2011 07:52 PM

yea justin i thought that ride at wharton would be crazy with that many trucks too and with all beginners could get a little messy... as far as the reed road... i think its part of collier mills or somthing i think as long as you stay on the trails and your truck is registered and "street legal" its legal. if you start trekking through uncharted woods then im sure they wouldnt be happy about it... it goes behind the animal safari at six flags.. one guy took some georraffe pictures from the trail haha

Tru2Chevy 08-17-2011 08:16 PM

Ahh, yes. Just looked it up. Very close to Collier's Mills. Found it on JF?
