Mike you have to much free time lol, so how'd work go today 8p |
It's a shame this build was abandoned :(
|
You just want pictures lol
Didn't take any. Looks the same as the last shot but with a timing cover on it |
|
-starter broke ( ground stud snapped on solenoid) seized
- clutch is getting replaced -tranzilla from Rockland standard gear is going in |
It doesn't ground through the housing to the block?
|
I'll grab a picture. It was an 8mm nut on the solenoid. The power with the 13mm was fine.
Regardless it needs to be replaced 8/ |
That is the signal wire from the ignition. When you turn the key power is sent through it which then connects battery power to the starter motor internally through the solenoid. The large post is your constant battery hot and you should see another large post on the solenoid with a wire going into the starter motor.
|
yea, and I think they are 9mm, weird crap.
you can buy just the solenoids. they are 45 bucks. |
starter from rock auto was 90 something.
Gotcha. I couldn't really see it to well when I was disconnecting it. So I just assumed thanks for the info |
|
solid motor mount club! looks great! Did you ever get track times on the h/c setup?

Sadly no man. Hopefully I will with this one lol
|

PRC Heads. Very nice. I have their CNC'd LS3 heads going on my 370. They seem to do some real nice work with their heads...
