Ohh, I did the opposite. Way to big of a cam for the street with a not so perfect tune. Car sounded carbed when I would first start it because it would take a good 30seconds to find its idle but it sounded like it was a nasty motor haha.

What would you have used? Just wondering.

Quick release fittings mated to braided line. I should retract my pushlock comment since I didn't actually buy it.

The comments about the Mufflex y-pipe have me worried....

Nope, just for the one time I had to push the hose onto the end of that ****ing fitting, but first I had to hack off half the bell housing....

That one time would have been worth it.

JerzLT1 01-15-2013 06:35 PM

I don't think that I'm allowed to answer this honestly. Ill just say the LT1 car as a whole.

Great piece but be prepared to spend some $

deadtrend1 01-15-2013 07:47 PM

Oh yea, that reminds me! That spec clutch that was defective ...

And the K&N FIPK for my silverado. Overpriced piece of plastic crap!

stoney2677 01-15-2013 08:04 PM

Flat top pistons.
Keisler 5 speed with a 3.37 1st gear.

LTb1ow 01-15-2013 08:37 PM

Buying an exhaust that claimed to fit a long bed, and or, buying a downpipe that claimed to fit "well"

sweetbmxrider 01-16-2013 07:32 AM

Ah yeah, doubt the eye baller!

Why did you not like the locker. I was gonna get one.

Teds89IROC 01-16-2013 10:37 AM

Coated Hooker Super Comp LT's..

I don't regret it per say, but I think a better route would have been to have a shop fab my y-pipe rather than the Mufflex piece. I've more so crushed my primaries than the y-pipe though

Italian Stallion 01-16-2013 03:58 PM

Buying a lt car instead of an ls

wretched73 01-17-2013 01:53 PM

My biggest regret is trying to turn chicken **** into chicken salad with my third gen.

The 2nd worst decision was buying a 400sbc that needed to be pieced together from some random fool I didn't know

The part I regret is not realizing how little time I really have to do anything right now!

WildBillyT 01-17-2013 02:46 PM

That and an Accel distributor.

enRo 01-17-2013 03:16 PM

Definately have to go with coated pacesetter headers

V 01-17-2013 03:22 PM

Used power adders!

Next time it'll be new or not at all.

mc73nova 01-17-2013 05:22 PM

Honestly? All of them. If I would have put all this money into a house, I could be real comfortable right now. By now I would have been in a situation to play a little. I guess you live and learn, not being a downer just being honest.

I feel the same in hindsight
