Is it just me, or does this winter seem colder than those of the last few? I know we got spoiled the last 2-3 years, but for all of you meteorologists out there: que pasa?

This winter feels normal to me, just with less snow and slightly warmer.

Remember, i spent a few years upstate ny by Canada... lowest temp in those years was -28f. It got to the point where anything above 14 degrees was t shirt weather. the sad part is back then we would really wear t shirts to go out to out cars or such and we were fine.

Early and mid 90's had more snow I remember. This winter on average has been quite a bit colder than we usually have had.

We are incredibly swamped at work. And then you have the token people going "Hey, how come you haven't come by to do the contracted roof work?"

"Well sir, it's 6 degrees out right now, and you have 16" of solid ice on your roof" :facepalm:

Tell them to turn the heat all the way up for a few days and when the ice is gone to call you and you'll be right over to do it

I can't stand this weather. To top it off there are more potholes than I have ever seen before. It's so sketchy to drive at night on some roads.

UGH! Have a 5 gallon bucket in the yard and the snow has nearly covered it. Figure this is easily 16" accumulated from all these storms and predicting another 3" tomorrow.

Been a cold one up here on the mountain, well below normal. Earlier this week the thermometer in the car showed -12 before the sun came up. Wife is freaken out over the heating bill, but what you gonna do?

Have a bunch of stuff to do to get the track and the car ready for the season. Have ZERO motivation with all this cold weather and snow.
