Whatever floats your boat. But why?

theres a part in the movie where braveheart meets up with the queen of england and her servant. and they are speaking english and trying to negotiate terms. the servant says 'we wont negotiate with these savages' in another language and braveheart understands it in the other language (they werent expecting that). and then in french he says: 'or in french if you prefer'. so like, he knew madd languages. the servant got owned on the spot.
