Good rental. We had 21 racers and out of those, only one person unfortunately broke. At least he did so with the wheels in the air. I want to thank those who came out and for Bonzohansen handling trophies and lunch. Air could have been a bit better but I know many set a new best.
I will start a pics, video thread and post up the good when I have some time to go through them. |
We had a good time, a lot of nice/fast cars out there today. Keep us posted on the next one, we should have both cars ready by then.
|
Brian, I had a great time yea car was off a tenth or 2 but still ran well. It was actually too nice a day lol. Met a lot of new faces and seen some old friends i haven't seen in awhile. Thanks again for putting this rental together as you always do a great job! Looking forward to the vids!

Awesome rental we had 5 cars out today and all but 1 in the 9's.
Pete's street driven 3750 lb TA went 9.59@142 but busted the 9" on the last pass Rob's street driven 3725 lb SS went 9.86@140 rowing gears as usual Dave in his orange SS made the highlight real with the nastiest launch of the day with a 2 gear wheel stand and fought traction issues threw out the day but went 10.16 NA and spinning to 9.9 passes with the shot. Ken in his 79 Turbo LS transplant Malibu went 9.46@145 on the foot brake and a hand full of mid 9 passes. A trans brake and a working XIM box and it will be in the 8's. John in his newly acquired SS convertible went 10.76@125 on a dry shot. All the cars performed well and had a great time looking forward to next year. |

There were some real bad ass rides at the rental - my fave was the Malibu, although every time I go to these, I get antsy to buy a 4th gen...
