I do like the occasional slice of Sicilian pie. but that is not deep dish. DD is only good in Chicago.

Nothing beats a good ol' Brooklyn thin crust fresh mozz pie

BigAls87Z28 01-06-2012 02:52 PM

Yeah fellas...this redefines thin-crust. This is probably 1/4 the thickness you are normally used too.
It's cracker thin, but very good. VERY GOOD.

LS1ow 01-06-2012 02:59 PM

cant wait to try it

BigAls87Z28 01-06-2012 03:02 PM

I lost count sometime in 2005, which was the last time I counted, but I had over 55 P&E shirts. Might be closer to 70 at this point.

LS1ow 01-06-2012 03:03 PM

ill be taking my first tonight.

BigAls87Z28 01-06-2012 03:14 PM

My advice to the first timers:
Don't make the rookie mistake and double-up on slices. You kill the flavor and end up hurting your jaw.
1) Separated all 8 slices with 1/2-3/4 spacing between the slices.
2) Pick the 4 largest slices, pound them down
3) Thanks to the cooling technique you learned in step one, by the 3rd slice, the pizza will be cool enough to eat, but still hot enough to give you the flavor.
4) After the first 4 are done, take your first drink to cleanse the pallet.
5) You will also think that the other 4 slices are easy, but by the time you finish eating slice 6, you might start to slow down. Don't let the thinness fool you, they stack up pretty quickly.
6) After you finish the 8 slices, finish the rest of your drink so that you can seal off your stomach. This is designed so you won't feel hungry anymore.
Your pace will be changed by whatever toppings you put on it, so plan accordingly
