12.27 @ 114 on a 1.8 60 ft. light bolt ons, full interior and half a wardrobe, stock tires up front, BFGs out back, UNTUNED. Could you tell me more about your car set up when you ran your 12.0?

Yes, my car was full bolt-ons minus a TC with seats removed and slicks/skinnies, but I was going for the first bolt-on 4th gen A4 with a stock tranny to hit 11s. For the record, I cut a 1.79 60, launching at 1400 rpms, full interior, no pulley, stock k-member, front sway bar on, stock A-arms, stock TB, stock plugs and wires, stock cats, stock water pump, 1/2 a tank of gas, TT2s up front that weigh more than your tires stock on 16' T/A rims out back with BFG Dr's with me driving  |
OK, well Im glad that you are happy with your car. Its an auto. A monkey could drive and get the same results. Or perhaps you could put a brick on the pedal and it would work just as well. I would love to let you take a pass in my car to see just what you turn with it since your such a skilled driver. :fireguns:

Hey guys... can I come to play?

2. You talking about me not having driving skills is hillarious, since you don't have any and anyone that knows how to drive a stick can cut a 1.8xx 60 on Drs(no I'm not talking about Tommy) 3. My lowly auto saw a 1.8 60 on stock street tires 4. Comparing ETs from a stick and an auto is pointless anyways since everyone knows that sticks dyno/trap better than autos since they can launch at higher rpms. 5. If I could launch my car at the rpm Tommy launched at, I would be sitting around 11.6-7 I just want to apologize to everyone for jumping off topic. |

2. Last time I checked it required some skill to get a 12.5 3. My M6 saw a 2.1 60 ft woOt! 4. Should we not compare them because they are differant colors? 5. You had the option to buy the M6 so you too could be launching higher. |

The bottom line is even under the most strict terms, my car IS a bolt on car.

That's like me saying I have a stock tranny, but I have a 3600 stall = not stock If it didn't come from the factory with a cartek clutch then it's not stock. |
Everything I've ever put onto my car has bolted on. The new motor BOLTED into the factory motor mounts, the TH350 BOLTED to the new motor's bellhousing, factory crossmember, and driveshaft, the Dana 44 BOLTED into the rear suspension. I sure as hell have never welded anything onto/into my car ...so, saying you have a "bolton" car is a silly arguement to be brickering back and forth over because its something you cant really define. This "battle" should be about....
1) North vs South 2) RUN WHAT YOUR BRUNG HOPE YOU BRUNG ENOUGH! Dont have as many "boltons" as whoever? Sucks to be you, go home. |

Wow someone must be stupid. What is the trans fused to the clutch? They are to seperate parts. It has nothing to do with the trans being stock or not. Jersey TA sorry a bolt on car is almost as fast as your cammed car. Don't hate on Ali cause she has a fast car.

How about... lets save it for the spring, men :-D
