Doh, radar is showing rain about to hit down here in south central very soon. I'll be bringing the beater I guess.

BonzoHansen 07-29-2007 09:08 AM

It's gonna give us a window. I'm leaving the 77 home, so it won't rain. I got a murphy's law thing cooking. It bit me Friday night.

GP99GT 07-29-2007 09:21 AM

Firebird67dude 07-29-2007 09:45 AM

I'm still thinking bout it. IDK how to get there tho.

misterjuice 07-29-2007 10:01 AM

Southbound:
Follow Route 287 South to Exit 17 (Somerville/Routes 202/206 South). When the highways split, take Route 206 South. At the second traffic light make a right turn onto Somerset Street. Follow for approximately 2 miles (road name will change to Old York Road). Duke Island Park will be on the left.

Firebird67dude 07-29-2007 10:06 AM

Yea, just saw that after matt sent it twice. haha, I wonder if the map quest directions are right. They say to turn left on 1st ave then right onto w somerset st.

Umm....Timmy sent me cell phone pictures of Jon looking pretty wet and standing under an umbrella (and Wayfast with a big hat on).

transamkid 07-29-2007 04:25 PM

the umbrella was for the sun and they were wet from the wet t-shirt contest

NJSPEEDER 07-29-2007 04:39 PM

that was a fun meet.
kaseyfast in his mexican party hat, jon hiding under his batman umbrella, the old men in their lawn chairs, bubba cooking some killer steak, and james managed to not burn himself.
excellant time for all who braved the "sprinkles" at duke island park. :)

GP99GT 07-29-2007 05:09 PM

ar0ck 07-29-2007 05:30 PM

The food also definitely made up for me being soaking wet!

Gotta give props to Bubba on that awesome steak.

GP99GT 07-29-2007 05:45 PM

bubba428 07-29-2007 05:59 PM

HAHA yea hiding in the mini-van lol...little bit of lightning and every one runs and hides I'm still standing there :bbq:

JL8Jeff 07-29-2007 07:53 PM

Good steak, good chicken, good sausage/peppers/onions, good apple cake, good cupcakes! I think I went about 2 miles up the road and it was dry! We had the meet at the wettest spot in NJ today and we still had a good turnout! There were even F-body's there. It was sunny, hot and dry at home so I had to mow the lawn before going out in the boat for a float down the river.

bubba428 07-29-2007 08:00 PM

Yea I seen that....I was kinda pissed

bubba428 07-29-2007 08:59 PM

Now sense I've never met 90% of you guys....is it just me or is bonzo just like the sarcastic guy from Adam sandler movies????
