Ughh, what wasn't directed towards you :rofl::rofl:

sweetbmxrider 11-05-2008 04:40 PM

i'm glad i have a boat anchor. i use it when i am reeling in a catfish. :D

rear intake manifold leaks are from the egr heat. move it or lose it.

opti's can be done away with to a coil pack setup.

without lt1's, you wouldn't have an ls1

LT1 W1NS

oh no, not the bucket thing again. stop the LT1 vs LS1 war, both motors have ups and both have downs stop crying everyone.

Lt1_8U 11-05-2008 06:03 PM

its funny that nasty with his ls1 probably wont race it against a boat anchor like mine or alex's or shownomercy's

dont go around talking **** if your not gunna back it up with facts or a race:moon:

You didn't. Nastyelesone said he wanted to run mid 11's...I then put this:horse:

I guess it went waaaaay over your head.

I have no problem running you alex. In the Saturn or the bird when It gets "finished"

looks like you have quite a bit of mods there 8-)

ill be around the tracks next spring. in stock for the best ive pulled was a 13.5 so far. you have more in mods than i have in the price i paid for my car. i might even be at englishtown this saturday for one last time before the winter spoils the fun.

in all actuality i just dont like the lt1 motors. dont take it personally but i prefer the ls series...you can have your opinion the exhaust note, ill have mine.

edit:: thats with a crappy 60'' time going easy on the rear.

NJSPEEDER 11-06-2008 09:31 AM

13.5 is the same ET than my friend John's 94 Z28 pulled when it was stock. Congrats.

Mike 11-06-2008 09:34 AM

and the same time my 98 mustang pulled with a cold air and catback........i thought ls1's owned all, apparently not in 98

ooo oo me me!!!! wait... i have no time for atco... dam lol

V 11-06-2008 09:55 AM

oh and i skimmed this thread....

i like my exhaust note, it scares women and children so it does its job.

the idle, or lack of a consistant one scares anyone who considers messing with me at stop lights, that actually dissapoints me.

and the exaust sounding like a nascar at highway speeds when passing or chasing makes sure no one tries to mess with me....

not bad all for a stock 3.4v6 with an exhaust leak ls1 ss clone...

Knipps 11-06-2008 10:05 AM

3.4 wasn't available after 95, you do the swap yourself paul?

im glad im not the only one that gets a kick out of this. btw my 13.5 et was with a 105 trap speed (104.89)...it deffinately can bang out a lower time but im not risking it on a stock rear. 13.5 is only .6 tenths off what arock is doing and he's got a lightly punched heads/cam/bolt on motor. had he put that amount of work into an ls1 he would already be complaining about a broken rear.
