In retrospect, I should have made this earlier. I will be at Pete and Eldas around 8 to see if I can snag a table since we will have a big party.

NJ346 01-06-2012 05:52 PM

I will try to get there a little before 830 that way if I get lost or have to wait to park. Who else is bringing their F-body?

This sounds like an excellent idea, however, in retrospect, you mean you may show on time now. :kneeslap:

I just got home. It was cool seeing everyone for the first time in a while and seeing how the group has expanded. First time I took a 30+ mile trip in the camaro in a while too.

BigAls87Z28 01-06-2012 10:48 PM

As per usual, fun was had amd another sucessful meet was had. Things went according to plan.

My advice to the first timers:
Don't make the rookie mistake and double-up on slices. You kill the flavor and end up hurting your jaw.
1) Separated all 8 slices with 1/2-3/4 spacing between the slices.
2) Pick the 4 largest slices, pound them down
3) Thanks to the cooling technique you learned in step one, by the 3rd slice, the pizza will be cool enough to eat, but still hot enough to give you the flavor.
4) After the first 4 are done, take your first drink to cleanse the pallet.
5) You will also think that the other 4 slices are easy, but by the time you finish eating slice 6, you might start to slow down. Don't let the thinness fool you, they stack up pretty quickly.
6) After you finish the 8 slices, finish the rest of your drink so that you can seal off your stomach. This is designed so you won't feel hungry anymore.
Your pace will be changed by whatever toppings you put on it, so plan accordingly

What diameter is the Pizza?

Uh what?

You struggled, Al's came out way after yours and he finished almost before you. :kneeslap:Don't be lying online.

Never struggled, just took my time and paced myself. Al had 4 slices left when I finished

transmaro93 01-07-2012 09:57 AM

coolmanvette75 01-07-2012 10:00 AM

Yea beggs finished when I was a little more than halfway done. He did it pretty fast...

sweetbmxrider 01-07-2012 10:27 AM

Pal had 3 small ones left, and he was talking his face off like usual. Pal = king

coolmanvette75 01-07-2012 10:33 AM

Yea the fact that I kept laughing from him talking prolly slowed me down a bit too

sweetbmxrider 01-07-2012 11:07 AM

LTb1ow 01-07-2012 11:12 AM

So where should we go for the next one?

Blackbirdws6 01-07-2012 11:15 AM

If we do pizza again, I recommend Chimney Rock up by me.
