Salt truck dumped its load on 287 at 60mph. I've never seen that before. Not spread. Dumped.

Blackbirdws6 02-18-2014 09:13 AM

Guess someone wanted to go home.

Jersey Mike 02-18-2014 09:24 AM

Salt shortage? Fuggitttttttt

And I could see blacktop on my way in this morning, with no roadway conditions that warranted doing anything under 55mph, and yet I had a douchenozzle in a SUV, with the hazards on and wipers on the highest setting, doing 22mph in the middle lane.
...must have been a lost central nj guy :-D

Highly unlikely! Even when we are lost we are still going 90mph.8-)

IROCZman15 02-18-2014 11:46 AM

Its not all that hard. My friends tri axle had the tailgate lock and third axle controls in the center between the seats. Easy to mix up when trying to drive and raise/lower the axle.

elle 02-18-2014 01:07 PM

Looks like winter is returning at the end of next week with another polar vortex

Yeah, I wasn't sure how/where the controls are located but I'm guessing it was an accident.

Wetzel County has one plow, and it is fwd and lacks brakes, so I don't wanna hear it from you jerseyians, lol. But yeah it has been a rough one lol.

edit: was 4x4 until the driveshaft broke.

im hoping the weather today clears one part of the roof. Id rather not have to climb up there. 40ft with snow and ice isn't fun especially when the roof slopes drastically to that area from even higher up.

sweetbmxrider 02-21-2014 02:30 PM

Tornado watch trollolol winter

Blackbirdws6 02-21-2014 03:00 PM

Better tie yourself to that new plow truck.

The_Bishop 02-26-2014 05:58 PM

1. Where did you hear that?

2. You better be kidding!

The_Bishop 02-26-2014 06:05 PM

I just checked 5 different weather forecasts, it's either a rain/snow mix to 1-3 inches.

Mulletbird 02-26-2014 06:50 PM

24"+ in upper elevations ... I'm boned. And yes ten inches next week for eastern seabord, especially the northeast.

elle 02-26-2014 06:50 PM

Severe NJ weather, Hunt County Weather, and no I'm not kidding. slow moving storm starting sun thru tues a.m. Haven't checked local tv news yet.

LTb1ow 02-26-2014 08:38 PM
