It might be an led bulb but def easier to remove that then tune it out as I don't think that exists. Didn't I give you a throttle cable too? That should work.

Spoiler Alert.

this isnt going to be addressed anytime soon, but obviously just as any camaro owner, im looking to swap out the flat Z wing for something else. While i do love the SS spoiler, everyone has one. I did have the freedom designs big honkin duckbill on 1 of my cars, but its just to much i think. And im not a fan of the lines on the 3 piece RS body kit spoiler, and that 6LE aggressive spoiler is to much imo. I dont like how its notched in the middle.

So i stumbled upon this.

https://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0...97&oe=58B532B4

https://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0...7d&oe=58B87D39

Has anyone ever seen this before? the Z07 packages come with a similar wickerbill set up, and im not sure if the ZL1/Z28 does as well. But ive deff never seen anything like it on a 4th gen.

What im really concerned with is how its mounted. If its only those few bolts i dont see this thing lasting at speeds more than 100.

what do you guys think?

sweetbmxrider 11-28-2016 05:51 PM

Different? Yes. Feeling it? Not particularly. Its a cool idea but it doesn't flow/finish right to my eyes.

LTb1ow 11-28-2016 07:52 PM

Your car won't go faster than 100mph, don't need more then self tappers in that bad boy.

Initial thought on it, is mehhh, but, it def could grow on me.

Jersey Mike 11-28-2016 08:05 PM

That hardware is a deal breaker.

Blackbirdws6 11-28-2016 08:06 PM

At first glance, not feeling it but maybe it would look better on another color car. It needs more curve IMO to fit the body style.

LS1ow 11-28-2016 08:43 PM

I found the guy that made it on fb. Send him a message.

From stalking his pics it looks like an early version, he has a pic with a watermark across it that looks like a improved version that has curve to it.

sweetbmxrider 11-29-2016 06:26 AM

The pic isn't loading for me.....Could always throw black hardware at it if that is a deal breaker....

Anti_Rice_Guy 11-29-2016 06:31 AM

I think if it is curved a bit more, on a darker colored car that's visually similar to Alex's old Z (lowered, road race vibe, etc.) it would look sweet. Not doing it for me with that setup in the photo.

Thats the look i plan on having when the car is in street trim:nick:

Heres the other pic i was talkin about, looks a little more "Fitted" to the car.

Also, found that they are $285 plus shipping each. Which is insane considering its 2 pieces of plastic.

This is how someone starts a business.....

sweetbmxrider 11-29-2016 08:29 AM

Might be nutserts? But you need a tool to do that.....def self tappers

Jersey Mike 11-29-2016 08:49 AM

Just do a Sunoco clone and be done with it

i thought of that. But even so i cant imagine it being that strong due to it just being into fiberglass or whatever the wing is made of. And i actually do have the the tool. My Jeeps LED bar brackets for above the roof used nutserts, and the tool was included

sweetbmxrider 11-29-2016 10:40 AM

LS1ow 11-29-2016 02:36 PM

This is what I got from the guy, let me know If any o you can make sense of this.

Thanks bro ! It all happen for the love of my car lol. Yeah I have a website where u can order it and it's simple to install. On your since it would be on the track I'll send u the bolts that are on that picture basically when u take off the spoiler there a hole on each corner and u basically install the bolts so to tighten it would be with a rachet so it's your standard heavy duty bolt and lock seal nut. . Same with the middle bolts. Basiclyy on the middle ones you unscrew the screw that holds the light in place and u get a drill bit the size of the bolt and drill threw it. Make a pre-made hold on the bottom so u can insert the nut and I give u seals to cover up that hole and that's pretty much it.
