With enough heat, SOMEONE can weld anything.

I’m not the best. Will most likely be tacking the pieces and then having someone else weld it up nice

I wish you had this level of self awareness before trying to "tig" my oil pan back in 2012

Honestly a LM1 is like ideal for what i want. I think the exhuaust being dumped under the car is gunna get old fast. a LM1 will allow be to have it ran out the back of the car(and allow for Corsa tips:drool:) but still maintain a pretty much straight threw system

MDSheds_SS 12-13-2017 11:19 AM

Lm1 is not considered a "muffler" by raceway park officials. So no Friday night racing at Etown. Just a heads up

But a Dynomax bullet is? da fuq

KirkEvil 12-13-2017 05:53 PM

Dynomax actually has perforated tube and deadening. LM1 is just a expanded section of tube. Get a borla xr1 or small vibrant quiet resonator

I have a 3" flowmaster muffler that I throw on when I'm gonna attend one of those events. Sounds terrible but it works. #streetcarmode

You are free to take and use whatever exhaust pieces you want.

The_Bishop 12-14-2017 04:49 PM

Trollololo answer would be: In the warehouse

sweetbmxrider 12-15-2017 11:05 AM

Something is messed up somewhere with my shifter. I’m pretty certain it’s the routing of the cable, but everything looks fine. Also, with car off i can shift the car out of park. In addition to that, it doesn’t go down to 1. It comes out of park and goes to Reverse, N, and OD but will not drop any further.

LTb1ow 12-17-2017 07:07 PM

Check for kinks etc and then you can adjust the cable (slightly) but popping the collar at the trans mount area. Worst case, slot the mounting bracket holes ot get it aligned correct

Im wondering if it is to far forwards on the trans tunnel due it the car previously being a 6 speed

Small update interior wise. Threw the whole thing back together last week and decided i couldnt deal with the sea of tan. Pulled it all apart and Order myself some VHT Spray Dye and had some arts & crafts at work on saturday.

Came out pretty good. Not as good looking as OEM black trims, but $12 VS $100 or whatever. Its not a show car so eh whatever. Just cleaned em up with some plastic cleaner, then went at it. I went wheelin with them in the back of my truck so they got tossed around, no scuffs or anything. So im gunna guess its gunna hold up pretty good.

Looks good

I have an entire Charcoal Camaro interior in my garage :(

Blackbirdws6 12-18-2017 12:08 PM

I like the black panels on a NBM car. Looks good from here.

qwikz28 12-18-2017 01:13 PM

That looks way better than my faded black interior.

LS1ow 12-18-2017 02:19 PM

Hoping it lasts. I opted for the VHT stuff over the regular paint bc to me a dye means it seeps into the item, a paint will just coat it.

Maybe installed pics today and testfit seats.

sweetbmxrider 12-18-2017 04:44 PM

I think it looks good breh

LS1ow 12-19-2017 11:06 AM

Threw them in along with the harness bar, doesnt look to bad.

Still waiting on new coat hangers since thats what is used to hold in the larger pieces in the 1/4. I must have tossed them by accident. Also those 1/2 turn fasterners for the rear passenger side are super sloppy, prob will end up either sourcing newones, or maybe eliminate them and run a push pin like the driver side.
