Nice. May have mine done at some point. What injectors you have in yours?

Stock injectors for a pontiac GTP. They run @ 41lbs on a LS1 fuel system. Budget friendly option.

Picked up some Aluminum grill mesh to fill in the catfish mouth until an inter cooler can. Full on drift car build install... epoxy and zip ties.

Put some more miles on the car this weekend, about 80 of em. Half of which was with my tuner sitting shotty on the lap top making changes.

-Changed some stuff on the cold start. It used to fluctuate RPM quiet a bit for the first few seconds(till the O2s kick on i guess) Now it sits just at a higher idle for the first few seconds before dropping down to optimal cam chugga chugga.

-Another problem that was fixed, previously when i would let off the gas after stabing it real quick the car would stumble and shut off. I remember a lot of TTP tuned cars at the rental were doing this after the burn out. A throttle blips, nish had it all sorted out. Not even a hiccup

-Played with how the trans acts as well. As previously stated, the car felt like it didnt know what gear it wanted. That has been solved. Previously the converter would not lock until 62mph, and would unlock at 10% throttle. Now it locks at 40mph, and will not unlock until 30% throttle. The car is much nicer to drive on the highway around here now. Trans feels awesome and hits hard, thank you again kirk.

Trying to get some more miles on the car this week to make sure theres no more issues before dyno day.

TTP tuned cars stalling???? I wonder who’s car you are referring to.
Glad to see your heading in the right direction.

Sounds like you are on the right track. Keep at it.

Was your car TTP turned? I don’t remember it shutting off. I do remember the C6 not being able to do a burnout without it shutting off

Yea, TTP tuned my car. A few times actually. It’s better then it was but it will still stall out after a burnout. So I just flip it into neutral and bring the idle down myself as I roll up to the beams. Not ideal, by any means but it’s what I’ve learned to do so I’m not the guy that stalls and automatic car at the track.

took my well mannered, non violent, shifts dont hurt my spine, quiet street car to get some groceries yesterday !

Also, i threw on a new front lip for extra stancey points.

Bumper is only held on my 3 push pins at the center mount, and 1 nut on each fender, hoping adding the correct amount of hardware fixes this gap.

Important question - Get anything good at the store?

LS1ow 09-05-2018 09:08 AM

10 for $5 Seltzer and 10 for $10 Gatorade !

I can also verify the trunk pop button on the key fob works.

LS1ow 09-05-2018 12:38 PM

Had to run home on my lunch break today so i decided why not get some more miles on it.

OHHHHHH. I get it !

sweetbmxrider 09-05-2018 04:14 PM

Looks good dude! Probably have to throw shims under the bumper to pull it up. Hood probably could have come forward based on driver fender corner to hood corner not meeting up but I assume the latches make that very difficult meow.

So on the ride home from work I noticed my fuel gauge is dead.

Any common problems to check ?

Is there fuel in the tank?
:nick:

LS1ow 09-05-2018 06:10 PM

Yaaas. It was at like 3/4 tank, now it’s dead empty

qwikz28 09-06-2018 06:40 PM

Common problem. Keep off the pedal on the right.

sweetbmxrider 09-06-2018 07:02 PM

Check the wiring is my best guess, I don't think there is anything common with them dying but if you were playing with the sending unit, I wonder if its still plugged in and floating...

LS1ow 09-07-2018 10:38 AM

Fuel gauge works again
