Thats whats up! i like that. I just put the back seat in my camaro down and put **** under the seat but i like that even more! If you got plans on paper how to do that let me know because thats hot!
i ******** hate people in the back on my car and thats an even better excuse not to drive more than one person around! |

where does it mount to? is it like some sort of chassis or suspension brace?
|
So you removed the back seat, whats really the point of it? :? Besides not driving more then one person around, which i dont do anyways. Just for looks i assume...

I personally think that looks really good and i don't like the back seat in the car as is. I just keep the back part down and its some what looks like that. |
i like having the back seat when needed though. i'm with paul though, i put my seat down when im not using it
|
i got one of those harness bars in black...make me an offer on it
btw thats not alex's car...its got a 97+ console and a black shiftknob |

Im not sure on how much the entire back seat assembly weight's, but Im sure Little G or NJSPEEDER could tell you more accuretly. I never drive passengers in my car. Even if their light weights I still think my car is dragging ass. |

the backseat weighs about 30 lbs. in a 4th gen. the seats themselves are light, since they're made out of foam, but the back piece weighs the most. the rear seat belt brackets are a bitch to take off, GM put Loctite on the bolts. I nearly burnt out the motor on my cordless drill trying to take them out.
alex, is there a kit you found for the rear seat delete? i know they're out there, i just haven't been able to find them. |
cordless drill? bah
ratchet and a pipe....loctite wont stand a chance |

but what is its purpose? its just a bar to mount a harness and a camera?

who needs a delete kit? thats like adding the weight right back on, just for looks. And yea those seatbelt bolts are a bitch, not to mention that theyre torx so I tried with my bare hands (i have one of those tool things with like 6 or 8.... ok nevermind ****tiest description ever, but yea)

Craig has a rear seat delete panel in his car, it's just flat though, not boxed. Of course it's only in during daily driving, not at the track. I'll see if we can get pics/measurements for you alex, looks VERY simple to make.
