it also unlocks No Damage Modes and Unlimited Nawwwwwwws!

12secondv6 11-28-2005 11:13 PM

Mercedes has it.... puts the car in dyno mode.... disables ESP (trac control) 100 % and abs.

Works quite well :)

Brando56894 11-28-2005 11:48 PM

thats actually pretty cool....

nj85z28 11-30-2005 05:18 PM

sounds cool

NJSPEEDER 11-30-2005 05:21 PM

WOW!!!! THAT IS AMAZING!!!!
oh wait, no it's not. most american cars you just the little button on either the dash or console and it turns the traction control off. lol

Brando56894 11-30-2005 08:08 PM

true but just the concept of it is cool, except for in my case where i cant turn off the TC unless i buy a special module that u plug into the odb2 :(

qwikz28 12-01-2005 12:45 AM

obd2 is "on board diagnostics 2".

odb is "old dirty bastard". try to keep them straight, ok? they are NOT interchangeable.

BigAls87Z28 12-06-2005 06:33 AM

bwahhahahahah^^ Also, OBODB probably wouldnt be too good either.

Yeah, Corvette and CTS-V have this feature. If you push the button, it makes it less intrusive, but if you hold it down, it takes off all the electronic nanys, and you get fun time. When I went to Autoshow in Motion, I wanted to push the button, but the guy in the car didnt allow that.

slasherbarb 12-06-2005 09:39 AM

i have a button that turns my traction control off...good ole ASR buttino next the foglight switch...so happy the day i figured out what it did...

ar0ck 12-06-2005 08:06 PM

My ASR switch is right in the open (infront of the shifter), with nothing next to it... tempting me... "push me, lets have some fun"

badzracing 12-06-2005 11:03 PM

you guys have a way to control traction?....why didn't they put this feature in the trucks ( I sure could use it).

BigAls87Z28 12-07-2005 06:05 AM

it's when you come out of the throttle just enough to get the rear tires to hook. or something.

Brando56894 12-07-2005 05:43 PM

i think he was being sarcastic, but then again i may be wrong...

Ian 12-07-2005 05:46 PM
