but

enRo 11-07-2006 02:53 PM

Ummm, N/A means "Naturally Aspirated", which means it was probably all motor  I could be wrong. Actually... I am right... sig says 9.13 on a 175 shot ...

Nice times tho :-D Congrats

Nice job on getting in the 9's on motor. Hey did you see a 4th gen Camaro breaking driveshafts yesterday? My buddy was there and broke 2 different driveshafts. I could not believe it. I knew his LS1 was making some power but that is crazy.

i helped push his car off the track twice. i know he has a bobby bammann built motor in there it sounded really stout. but as soon as he launched it was such a horrible sound to hear. i felt bad for him but some guy that was there lived across the street and ran home and got him a steel shaft broke that one to. i forgot the guy w/the 4th gens name but he works with my son at CDW.

I was just wondering, if your running race gas, i would bump the compression up to 14.1 or higher, and a bigger cam if the heads flow over .600 lift, i think the car with them changes should be in the high 9.70's or so on motor and with a 175 shot, should go 8.80's on a good day, well thats my 2 cents. nice runs. JR1.

jr we run 116 in the car. we have 12:1 comp cause we planned on driving on the streets at the time.the lift on the heads is 594.

unfortunately my pockets are that deep to go that route which would be approx 3000 worth of work. so i live with what i have. hell another 100 c.i. would get me to 8.80's also. thanks for your 2 cents though. i can't help i'm broke

its a 68 all glass but the Qs & roof its a true divisional car rear wheel base moved up 1 1/2 inches it was built in the early 90s By john D in south jersey, when super street was still 4 tenth tree 2963 with Marc in it 2950 is the class it has a 468 BBC 72 LS 6 block w/ 315 ported AFRs 12.8 to one 48cc Ross C/A t - seal Z rings 6.385 rod eagle .090 Hoffman pro stock pins ( The old man in Plainfield NJ ) super victor R 1050 DOM - 2 speed glide all super stock mods - 4 tenth brake we do them in my shop as well 4500 stall ATI TURBO spline - 456 - 12 bolt w/ the new coated gears the pro mod cars have started to use - MSD 3 AL crank trigger 2 inch hookers w/ 3-1/2 collectors ultra dyne 725 725 268 276 @.050 with a 1.7 rocker on a 110 center line it ran this year 9:35 @ 145 at island but have been plagued with problems the new motor had 10 passes and it swolled a pebble -- took it all apart 3 bent valves and the block was dug up re honed it now the piston to wall is 0.010 at the max for sure to get the scratch out of the wall -- well that take it to the track first pass down the track the electrode wire comes off the plug and does anumber on the block again different cylinder same kind of scratch so now a re bore means a re balance and a different combo that what we have all our info on so i stopped after the holidays i will decide what to do with it it sure pissed me off this year -- if some 0ne could explain in my engress how to i have film of car but have no idea how to do that but willing to try -- jz
