GM/Camaros at Carlisle
 

hey gang,
i was wondering how many people woudl be interested in parking together in the show field at the summer carlisle swap meet?
i talked to a guy from carlisle events and he said that if we can get 25 or more cars to come as a group they will let us all park together and give us a tent to hang out under for the day. if we get less than 25 we can still all park together, jsut would have to bring or pay for the big tent.
the show runs june 22-24, we would most likely head out there on saturday the 23rd.
this is somethign that would be done in conjuntion with some of the other regional f-body clubs too.

so who's interested?

Bad weekend, Fathers day and Etown Nats I think. Turn out this year was real bad. ( I think it was a rainy weekend ) No fathers day F-body Clash @ Atco?

father's day = june 17
nhra at etown = june 21-24

Ive been to carisle before, That place gets big and this interests me, but i dont have a camaro. can i still park the T/A with yall? they had a burnout contest at the show i went to!

I plan on going, but if I take the Z I'll probably want it with the other 2nd gens (and probably head out friday & return Sunday). Otherwise I'll just drive out for the day Saturday.

I think the Maryland Camaro Club has a lot do do with the Camaro sub-show.

i will gather up a posse so us southerners can roll up there deep as hell :lol:

i was thinking as the time draws closer we can arrange a place for each region to meet up. since carlisle is right off the PA turnpike(exit 226) it would be easiest if everyone found their way to that so we could cruise in as a group.

i am gonna get in touch with some of the other clubs around the region as well to see if they want to get invovled in this little trip :D

Sounds good Tim! Keep us updated! The barn should *HOPEFULLY* have concrete poured this week which means two weeks from now I can start moving stuff here and do the trans swap.

i will be going out saturday most likely, i have to work monday through friday :(

if i can round up my posse, we'll be rolling out friday, and stay up there of course lol, most likely for free because i have friends out there :). maybe i should let my posse know that im planning this....

i will have to see how vacation time works out(i am gonna be traveling to some races this year). if i have the time it woudl be cool to roll out friday and cause a whole weekend of jersey style mayhem instead of jsut one day :D
i would like to roll in as a group at least one morning though. i know most of the years that the TV shows have been there they are taping on saturday since it is usually the busiest day. that would be the day to make an impact with a huge group.

As of today, 12/04/2006, there are 200 Days to go.....

I'll be cross posting this elsewhere. I think the more cars we can get driving out together the better!
