Slo86Bird 10-09-2007 03:43 PM

and if yer wonderin y i got pulled over, 64 in a 45 and the guy infront of me was going faster and i was goin down a steep hill.

Mike 10-09-2007 04:00 PM

what does the hill and the guy in front of you have to do with you getting pulled over?

and maybe you shouldnt be taking pictures while driving in that kinda rain

and what the hell is in the middle of your back window in the second picture

bad64chevelle 10-09-2007 04:17 PM

I think that it may be a BAD idea to start moving objects around or holding things up while pulled over by a cop...thats just me though.

i dont think anything. THe outline of the rirror view mirror is throwing you off i think.

Im with you on pictures of the rain. I hit that kind of stuff and just focus on keeping in lane and not rear ending someone

GP99GT 10-09-2007 04:22 PM

all i can say is wow

Tru2Chevy 10-09-2007 04:27 PM

Yea, taking pictures of the cop that just pulled me over and the rain on the highway in front of me while driving wouldn't be on my to-do list......

wow, the sidewalk crack, cruisers wheelwell, uprights on the push bumper all line up perfect to make it look like a ricer spoiler

Slo86Bird 10-09-2007 10:38 PM

first time gettin pulled over so had to take pics. the guy was goin faster so u would think the cop would want him but i guess not. and after the cop pulled out i sped up to try n turn b4 he caught up but didnt have time which sucked.

bad64chevelle 10-09-2007 10:43 PM

No because you drive a Firebird....why would he want to get the normal vehicle when you stick out like a sore thumb. He probably knew you were gonna try to turn off too, that didnt help the situation.

Slo86Bird 10-09-2007 11:00 PM

eh. cops r d!cks up here.

Mike 10-09-2007 11:01 PM

next time you know your doing somthing wrong, and know you dont have anywhere to turn off.....pull over before he gets behind you and let him catch up......usually buys you some brownie points

r0nin89 10-09-2007 11:10 PM

Well did you get the ticket?

Never fun getting pulled over. But I have to admit, seeing the lights in the side mirror made me laugh. :) Misery loves company I guess.

edpontiac91 10-10-2007 10:28 AM

AFTER SEEING THE COP, YOU SPED UP TO TRY AND OUTRUN HIM, IN POURING RAIN. I think the lights are on, but NOBODYS home if that's your reason. Also buy yourself a good brand RADAR detector. But in the meantime, SLOW DOWN when it's pouring(especially with a rear drive Bird), the life you save MY BE MINE!

Slo86Bird 10-10-2007 02:31 PM

it started pouring like a hour later...i have a new radar detector, 150 bucks, and it started beepin after the cop passed me.

Iroc-z86 10-10-2007 02:41 PM

you drive a sports car get used to it.

radar dectors only work if he is using radar and most cops keep it off til the last second so they are pointless.

:2cents:

Nice! Yeah, that didn't draw ANY attention at all! That combined with someone taking pictures with their cell phone might have irked him (Or her) juuuuuuuuust a tad (Although I too laughed at the photo...looks like it should be on a drinking and driving campaign poster). Like it was stated earlier, slow down, let him catch up and take your medicine. Respect goes a long way.

So does that mean you got the ticket? You're keeping us in suspense here.

Slo86Bird 10-10-2007 09:09 PM

i gotta ticket, yes. i thought the speed limit was 50 so i was doin 55 and the rollin down the hill i picked up 6 mph and then hit the brake and he said the limit was 45 and that i was doin 64 n not 61 like my speedo had said
