15 in. x 8 in., 5 x 4.5/ 5 x 4.75 in. Bolt Circle, 4.50 in. Backspace
FRONT:
15 in. x 3.5 in., 5 x 4.5/ 5 x 4.75 in. Bolt Circle, 1.750 in. Backspace

thanks

Matt

all depends on if u want to tuck them or want them to stick out more.

i know 15" is good, 4.75 is the bolt pattern and backspacing should be around 4.5 or so

Mike 03-16-2008 08:42 PM

the fronts may need a tiny spacer, they do on 4th gens, dunno 100% though....i run that size on my ta and use a spacer in the front

IROCdan330 03-17-2008 01:15 PM

Matt...you are right with the wheel sizing...make sure you get the right lugs to go with them. I think you and I will be running the same wheels...

You are getting greg welds correct?

WildBillyT 03-17-2008 01:45 PM

Are you sure you want to get a skinny front rim if you are building the car to handle? Or is it now a drag race only car?

If I'm not mistaken, I believe that handling thing went out the window and this is car is going to be strictly drag.

Yeah I'm getting the Greg Welds :) I didn't order them yet and I don't know what lugs to get.

just a word of advice with lugnuts and lugs...because weld wheels are so thick you actually need to get longer lugs put in before you can run at the track...nhra requires the actual lugs stick out past the wheel the same diameter of the lug. so our cars have 12mm lug diameter which means the lug must stick out past the wheel 12mm...

i use those wheels on our car with closed lug nuts and everytime i go to tech i need to mention i have the extended lugs, the better solution would be to have open lug nuts so they can see how long they are.

those are the right size rims for slicks and skinnies...no spacer required...get 165r15 tires from tire rack.com for the front runners..they only cost 30 a peice...

i use 27x10.5 hoosier qtps in the back and they do not rub..i wouldnt go much larger.

What's the back spacing in the rears with the 10.5s?

Slow Z 03-22-2008 05:09 PM

I run pretty much the same wheels but my backspacing is 5.5" on the back... I run 27x10.5" QTP's too and they fit with a ton of room everywhere.... I think it tucks under the car just perfect.

which lug nuts?

7/ 16 in. x 20 RH

12mm x 1.5 RH

1/ 2 in. x 20 RH

if you are running factory studs i do believe its the 12mm.

Yes, factory studs are 12mm, but as 84HO mentioned above, you do not want factory studs with your setup. You'll need longer studs to pass tech, and you'll want stronger studs anyway....

12mm by 1.5 will work...

but like i said get extended studs too or they wont let you run..its just not safe if the lugs do not stick out they can shear the nut right off and send you wheel down the track...

and slow z was right with the 5.5" backspacing..they look great with lots of room..

BigAls87Z28 03-31-2008 09:34 PM

Looks like Josh will be pressing in new studs now.

I got my fronts, I'm honestly not impressed with them... They look so much better On line, and hopefully they will shine up a little bit more...
