MMA TapouT co-founder dead
Yea read about that yesterday...he was racing a porsche w/ a drunk driver.
R.I.P. Mask
He built that company from the ground up, what a shame. |
"The Ferrari then struck the curb and hit a utility pole, tearing the car in half"
Shame it really is, did they say if they were racing or not?
i think it still under investagation
Am I supposed to care more because he was a millionaire who couldn't control a car? Cause I don't care any more about him than the two dead people mentioned on the cover of today's paper.
^ way to be a dick, it's more of letting people know who don't read the paper or check the news very often about his death.
I just don't see the point. Just because someone is famous or has money doesn't make their life any more significant than the mountains of bodies listed in the paper everyday.

he was a great guy and did great things for the sport of mma. he gave many small names big chances in the rings and supported everyone who fought for his team. maybe your heartless comments should be left elsewhere.
RIP Mask |
There was a murder-suicide in Trenton yesterday, do you care about either of them?
did those people do anything to help others or help the hobby they love to grow? personally i don't know them but i do know Charles Lewis jr did impact many fighters lives and the sport of mma significantly. i think a little maturity is in line, thats all.
apparently he also drives drunk and street races, with passengers. what if he had hit a minivan full of the local little leaugers? still an awesome dude?
we are seriously turning the thread into this? whatever yeah you guys are right **** the ******* glad hes dead. pathetic.
i dont think that, but i also am not gonna lose sleep over him like he was roberto clemente or martin luther king.
to each his own. i like mma and this affects me.

Juan Reyes, Co-founder of the Mercer County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, considered a role model to the local youth, and active in neighborhood charities and events. I guess he never picked a fighter with a future, but he was an area business owner and apparently respected by those who knew him. |
t just sounds like this cat was being reckless and outright dangerous. drag racing on the street, whether in a hot rod or a pair of exotic cars, always leads to the wrong kind of headlines.
Because he made a mistake, people want to act like he is just some random ******* who does this **** all the time? hah you people ****ing make me laugh, he may not have helped by being involved in a chamber of commerce or some ****, and he didn't hit a van full of little league players, but he did help out many, many, people who made their families depend on them making a living in a sport. quit acting all high and mighty and downing him like some of the pieces of **** that make the articles in the paper. some of you act like you have never done a thing wrong in your entire lives and it makes me sick.

and what is different about you calling the business owner in todays headlines a piece of ****, and what your accusing us of doing? i have done plenty wrong and have never claimed otherwise |
I don't care what he was doing, how he died, or what he did for a living, that is my point. I don't understand why anyone gets all worked up because someone who happens to be rich or famous passes away.
My point is simply that a life is a life. Just because he invested in a few fighters and owned a clothing line doesn't make him Mother Theresa or Satan, it just means he had a job that he was good at. That doesn't rank very high on my care-o-meter because he wasn't paying me or making any positive impact on my life. |
but he did affect others lives, we would just like a little respect. honestly the guy is dead. its the least you can do. its ****ed up to not give a **** about a life.
I care just as much as I do whenever I hear about someone I don't have any personal connection to passing, it sucks for his family and friends, but I still have to go to work tomorrow.

Some young fighters idolize this guy because he co-founded one of the largest fighting companies. It doesn't hurt for someone who idolizes the sport to feel remorseful about this. |
