http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...1-23-12013.jpg

2000 SS, 18in z06 wheels on it right now. got the stock wheels with it in just about perfect condition. Leather interior, its the tan carpets/seats with the tan/black door panels. Auto /sadface but i can get over that. 88.7k miles on it. It's got a Volant cold air kit, edelbrock shorty headers and magnaflow catback.

MODS:

Mine came with whats in my sig.. those are probably the most common and simple.. which you already have lol

PROBLEMS SO FAR:

-power steering was whining when i got mine...
-water pump went on my at like 75k maybe...
-starter went at about 100k. (im at 105k)...

-hydraulics in the clutch went at about 80-85k and was upgraded to LS7

eveyrthing else was maintenance.

Frosty 01-23-2012 06:27 PM

Holy 4x4 stance lol

Good luck with her, looks really clean.

band77one 01-23-2012 06:28 PM

believe it or not the car doesnt really sit that high, in all the pics it looks like it does though, although one of the first things i do will be to lower it !

MyFirstZ 01-23-2012 06:30 PM

Depending on how you drive it certain things you will want to change.

If you drive it hard a pcv oil catch can, good brakes, good tires and upgraded clutch master cylinder.

DaSkinnyGuy 01-23-2012 07:06 PM

drive it easy otherwise your rear diff will tell you otherwise.

MyFirstZ 01-23-2012 07:14 PM

I beat mine like a red headed step child and its still going strong

sweetbmxrider 01-23-2012 09:05 PM

Nice, what did you scoop it up for and where?

maroman88 01-23-2012 09:07 PM

It's an auto my dude

@OP, get a Stall + Long tubes + Suspension
I'm a fan of suspension

Common problems from my two F-bods

+ 1 Water Pump
+ 1 Alternator (maybe working on two at the moment)
+ 1 Power steering pump noises...
+ 1 Clutch master (don't have to worry about it)

Artful Dodger 01-23-2012 09:16 PM

Congratulations on the great find. Good Luck.

maroman88 01-23-2012 09:22 PM

ive done water pumps on both LS1's ive had, in the 60-80k miles range, but its super easy

MyFirstZ 01-23-2012 09:41 PM

Missed that saw someone else mention clutch.
Forgot about the water pump.

WayFast84 01-23-2012 11:01 PM

I like it. How's the maintenance records? A fuel filter, pcv and plugs and wires might make a nice difference in how she runs. As far as mods generally lids are the first upgrade, throttle bodies are cheap as well, lcas and phb are a good start towards suspension.

band77one 01-24-2012 01:26 AM

i got it in williamstown, paid $7500. I don't have the records yet the guy is seeing what he has. he's in the process of moving and all that so im sure everythings a mess. but the car was well taken care off, theres 2 small dings, one on each 1/4 but im other than that no complaints.

WiMiMc 01-24-2012 06:29 AM

Problems? window motors

i got some lowering springs ;)

looks great doe !

edpontiac91 01-24-2012 08:37 AM

Good luck, love the color combo with the tan interior and the chrome wheels. Just a piece of advice, lowered cars look great, but every speed bump or dip in the road will make you cringe!

Anti_Rice_Guy 01-24-2012 08:40 AM

Congrats! Looks like it beads up pretty well!
