I'm official!

If owning an F-Body wasn't enough to be part of the crowd, I really fit in now! For those of you who don't know, last Thursday my wife and I got into an accident with the T/A. Everyone is ok which is the most important thing but the T/A has seen better days. So, while we are waiting to see what the insurance is going to do to fix it and it being the most ridiculous winter in a while, we decided to get another vehicle.

I didn't get a chance to take a pic yet but this is it minus the side steps.

Sucks about the T/A. Doesn't look like it'll be too hard to fix.

Win! You had a JK before, right?

It is worse than it looks, it is damaged even at the top near the t top. Not sure whats going to happen, it was a solid car, it would be a shame if it is totaled.

No mods on the Jeep! At least for now. I'll admit I do want to fab some bumpers and rails for it.

I know, I was planning on freshening up the suspension when it warmed up. We'll see what happens.

I definitely have been missing my Jeep so, I'm glad we have another one.

Full resto time!

Congrats on the new Jeep, try to keep the mod money for the Nova rockers/Pontiac rebuild this time ;-)

Thanks. If the insurance company doesn't take it, I probably will put it to the side and start a full resto next winter.
Without a doubt, the Nova comes first. I can't miss another season.

u can always buy it back from the insurance company.. if they did end up telling u it totalled i would strip it down asap and get what good out of it to put into another one

Kat 02-02-2011 04:22 PM

That sucks!

I had a 90 RS that got hit like that. They totaled it out cause the damage to the rear quater was to much work to fix. (needed rack time)

ouch, sorry to see you guys got in an accident. I really like the JK Wranglers though, good luck with it
