Not happy with my results (found out there something wrong with my car) but here they are
1st run (first run ever on slicks with a 6spd) 60' 2.02 (4k launch and it damn near stalled) 1/8th 8.543 MPH 84.86 1/4 13.13 MPH 107.83 (wtf?) 2nd run 60' 1.89 (5k launch and spun because of too much tire pressure) 1/8th 8.30 MPH 84.90 1/4 12.96 MPH 106.44 (i think i short shifted twice) 3rd and final run of the night (rained out) 60' 1.86 (6k launch but it was breaking up above 5k) 1/8 8.31 MPH 85.72 1/4 12.85 MPH 109.09 now alot of people would say thats not bad but i went 12.65 @ 115 on a 2.3 60' so that last pass shouldve easily been an 11 second pass. i just need some more seat time and my new opti,Coil, and ICM are on the way. i havent touched the ignition system on the car since i got it so im doing it for peace of mind as well as hoping to fix the problem |
what was the da tonight? Fix that ignition issue by tuesday so I can get an ass whoopin.

well I know your is alot faster then that. Seat time is your friend for sure. Im not sure about a 6spd but I know when I went from street tires to slicks it took a few passes to get use to launching with them. If you need a hand with the opti let me know.

if that fixes it. Lloyd is saying that stock injectors cant safely feed this setup so i may end up replacing injectors and getting a new tune :(

your on stock injectors? wow! no no! are you going to do a fuel pump too? i'd get on that group buy if you have the cash. are you going with a stock coil too? just curious.
hope to see it run a little harder next time. |

idk, i think Bryan would have said something during the tune if he didnt think the injectors could handle it but idk

cancel that, it has Delphi 37# in it. any other ideas.

well matt's fuel filter was holding him back on the top end iirc. he also said that the stock coil couldn't handle the higher rpm. is it missing though or what?

im going with a new opti and MSD coil, they should both be here friday
