I'm not going to lose sleep over this type of thing. There is a lot of "good" stuff being traded in.

Jersey Mike 08-18-2009 01:14 PM

Took a while compared to that Red Olds someone linked to earlier

They aren't magic. And careless drivers wrap them around telephone poles all the time. Traded in or wrecked carelessly have the car coming to the same end IMO.

Mike 08-18-2009 02:09 PM

dont blame the program......blame the person that traded it in. he obviously didnt think he could get more money on regular trade or by selling it outright.

sweetbmxrider 08-18-2009 03:43 PM

if it was an lt5 or lt4, i'd care

MyFirstZ 08-18-2009 05:19 PM

the tour was a cool i wish they shower the hydoforming of the chassis though.

BonzoHansen 08-18-2009 06:08 PM

Al could have used that engine

These comments make we want to buy an older C4 even more, build a super-sleeper.

LTb1ow 08-18-2009 06:10 PM

Al has betrayed the SBC....

sweetbmxrider 08-18-2009 07:10 PM

:( lost another one to gen III

FlyingDutchman 08-18-2009 08:55 PM

why is money being wasted for the car to be run to the ground like that? seriously thats poorly spent money on whatever it is they pour in there plus that guys time, then for it to be scrapped for additional cost

why not just send em directly to the smasher?

Will it shred?

Fast92RS 08-18-2009 08:57 PM

that sucks

NjbadSS 08-18-2009 09:01 PM

camaro2you 08-18-2009 09:04 PM

Such a stupid program, these cars then go the the junkyard and you can buy whatever part you want off of them besides the motor. Then your just fixing the other cars that are on the road and not solving anything.

i was told they send them to the yard to be crushed. so no motor and no parts for anyone

Reminder. No politics. C4C, fine. Do not bring political affiliations or bias into this.

Cars can be recyled, the engines cant.
Owner brings the car in under free will, no one had a gun to thier heads.
The idea is to give people incentive to buy a smaller or more fuel effiecnt cars.
Im this close to CFC'ing the Caprice for an 09 Malibu.
