Savage_Messiah 04-23-2005 06:52 PM

If you resort to parting out the 98 i may be interested in some stuff, good luck tho

GrandmasterCow 04-24-2005 12:00 AM

I was thinking of parting it out, but i need it to go asap because it's currently in our driveway and my parents don't appreciate it sitting there for so long, especially if we had ppl buying parts off it, it would look like a junkyard. lol

90FormulaWS6 04-24-2005 08:06 AM

hes no longer interested... doesnt want a 5spd and doesnt want to install the auto... sorry

GrandmasterCow 04-25-2005 12:33 AM

eh, it's okay man. both cars still for sale, NEED to get rid of ASAP.

karr95 04-25-2005 10:32 AM

I have a friend who might be interested in the Monte for his sister. First off, is it an auto or a manual? Second, you said it needs trans work but does the car currently drive?

Thanks,
Damien

GrandmasterCow 04-26-2005 04:17 AM

yeah, the car is an auto and yes it does drive. sometimes the reverse acts funny ,that's why it needs tranny work and i havent had the time to take it to many different places for quotes. the clutch i think is damaged.

GrandmasterCow 04-26-2005 04:24 PM

ttt

GrandmasterCow 04-27-2005 12:52 PM

c'mon, someones gatta be interested. if ya got questions just reply on here or IM me on aim. Hey, if i dont get rid of these two cars soon, my parents will trash both of them, and they're constantly on my back because they're sitting in my parents' driveway. so yeah just lemme know, i'm able to work out deals and all.

Savage_Messiah 04-27-2005 01:29 PM

Unless you want to trade for what's sitting in my driveway (and I don't mean the hyundai)... sorry man

karr95 04-28-2005 08:51 AM

My friend Dave might be interested in the Monte for his sister. Email him at shara100@aol.com with some details on the car. Really describe the tranny problem and the overall condition of the car.

Hope he buys it off yah!

GrandmasterCow 04-28-2005 11:57 AM

thanks man, just sent him an email

needs a new trans

foff667 05-13-2005 11:07 AM

the long story is he attempted to convert it from auto to manual...he bought a used tranny & seemingly worked for a week but then died so it needs a new tranny from what i know at this point.

skorpion317 05-13-2005 12:45 PM

how hard would it be to go back from the manual to the auto?

or better yet, how about rebuilding the 5-spd? i'm not too knowledgeable about trans construction, but i'd be interested if the price of the trans rebuild was relatively cheap.

you'd probably be better off trying to find a used one cheap...personally i would just go back to the auto in this car though as it would probably be better off.

biggsj84 05-13-2005 10:04 PM

what r u lookin to get for the maro?

GrandmasterCow 05-14-2005 01:22 AM

$3500 - $4000 obo. car runs fine except for the mentioned flaws. i have everything from the very last bolt if you wanted to go back to auto. like i said, this car would be a good project if you're up to it. i had everthing checked out so far, and so far the only thing that needs work is the tranny itself. i was quoted 400-800$ for a rebuild of the tranny.

Apacastine 06-05-2005 07:16 AM

Interested in the camaro

I recently got in an accident with my Mustang, a trash truck hit me and theyre going to total it, so i need another car. Im interested in the camaro, but whats the details with the tranny, is the 5spd in it right now and not finished? I mean you say it needs a rebuild, but whats wrong with it? Not shifting right? Clutch dumping? Also, where at in south jersey are you? Hit me up an email if its easier than writing a reply: apacastine@rescueteam.com
