We have an ET data base, do we have/ want a Dyno database?
Right now we have a list of our quickest people as a sticky.
Would we want a dyno list too? Me N/A 180 RWHP 200 RWTQ Last Fall Nitrous 315 RWHP 380 RWTQ 2+ year ago |
Dyno numbers mean jack to me. Yes it's cool to hear about 1000+hp cars but there's that old saying; What's the difference between a 500hp Supra and a 1000hp Supra... nothing, they both run 11's.
Infact, for being rather knowledgable about dyno's I don't believe the numbers. The only time a dyno is useful is when you compare that exact dyno with other cars from the SAME dyno, not just same style. They're also good for getting a tune ruffed in but again, what's more important, a dyno number or an ET with mph? Personally if I had to brag I'd choose having the lower ET and the lower dyno pull numbers. Sorry for the rant, I just find nothing impressive about dyno horsepower. |
I think it would be cool, but I don't put much stock in dyno #'s

I could careless about dyno. All I know is that the engines in my sig (big blocks anyways) make more than enough torque for me

The only thing I get from dyno #'s is effeciency of a certain set up. |
