Regal T-Types were sleepers IMO, not GN/GNX's. GN/GNX's had different/black wheels, black grills and made their presence know. |

Overall I think it's a great idea except ditch the awd and just make it rwd. A turbo v6, blacked out mid size rwd 2-door = GN/GNX no if's and's or but's about it. I think it would be nice to have the brands running against each other again. Have a GTO, a GN/GNX, and see what Chevy could come up with. They'd all have to have slightly different power plants like the GTO being the n/a v8, the GN turbo v6, and have Chevy use a supercharged small v8 like the 4.8 . I think that would be stir up enough competition that the aftermarket would thrive on for years like it did with the mustang/camaro/fireturd competitions. Look at the WRX and EVO and what they've done for their companies only with 3 cars unriveled by a competitor, pure GM dominance in the class. I must admit I don't like bringing back names when they don't acomplish what the original was set out to do. The 94-96 imps did it well, I think the GTO is more powerful and a dominant performer in it's class so that too was okay and if the GN come's back it would just have to be a blacked out sleeper that's fast and does everything the older GN did and then some. |
