Update
 

Sunday we took out the dash with paul's help (thanks a lot man), just the plastic shell, left all the wiring and vent in the car. Yesterday discovered weight reduction hehe: took the seats (all but driver's) out of my car (the seatblet brackets on the back bart of the backseat were a bitch... damn locktite), they were just getting in the way, plus now I can clean all that. Here's whats left to buy/install:

Pick up basically the entire front end (nose, all lights, headlight bracket) from a guy in Trenton

Pick up dash from Bill

Get my hood and send the payment after I get it

Pick up bumper, absorption bar, and intake piece from James (WHEN THE HELL DO YOU WANT ME TO GO?)

See if this other airbag Paul has will fit in my car

And the last thing will be replacing the windshield ($235).

Total: $175 + 235 windshield + ? airbag

Here's what's left to do that I haven't listed up there: pull out the radiator support a little more (it's almost straight, check webshots "mopmoonchild2"), then either replace the light in my gauges that burnt out (gas gauge light lol), or I was thinking of maybe doing white LEDs. Also I think I'll take out the "ABS INOP" bulb... I know it's on and I don't need to stare at it lol. Clean the interior... and I think that's about it.


License update: sent the stuff to my lawyer, we're requesting a hearing on it to see what we can do. Figured that it can't hurt so w/e.

I'll maybe take some pics later.

Oh and my dad's gettign the nose and lights and that stuff tomorrow on his way home from work

Hm, the paint on this nose is... pretty far from the quality of mine... oh well. Anyone got one of those clay bar thingys for me to try out?
We just have to pull out the rad support a liiiittle more - maybe tomorrow - and get to james' WHNEVER HE LETS ME KNOW WHEN to pick up some stuff... then I will be reassembling the front end and waiting on the hood... then attaching the hood and waiting for Bill to get back... then getting the dash and putting that in... then hopefully that will be that and I can get the windshield done... and then hopefully ill still have a license.

i can get u a clay bar thingy...at 20% off too...come see at Strauss Discount Auto on 23 in Wayne and we will see what we can do...b

Bumper - at James's resort house :lol:
Dash - waiting for Bill to get back
Hood - waiting for it to be mailed/get here

and windshield, but that's last.

Soo close... yet soo far... I need to wait till not this weekend but the one after to get the sadh, then sometime after then for bumper. Also have my little intake problem but maybe it's just time to ghettomod 8)
